Welcome to the 18th Annual
Western Washington Quilt Shop Hop
This flyer is your directory of the locally owned quilt shops who are participating in the 2016 shop hop. The shops are located from Lynden to Vancouver,
each with it’s own unique style and selection of fabrics for your sewing pleasure! The shop’s ads include directions and phone numbers to help you navigate your way to all of the shops.
Going Red & Giving Back
We are Going Red...
In support of the American Heart Association and the Go Red for Women campaign, the shop hop and the individual shops will be donating to Go Red for
Women a percentage of the proceeds for each yard of fabric sold. In addition,
our fabric designers at In The Beginning and Clothworks are matching our donation. For every yard of our exclusive shop hop fabric that is purchased, .50
cents will be donated directly to Go Red for Women! Our goal is to aid in the
mission of increasing knowledge and understanding about heart disease and
stroke in women. The mission of Go Red for Women is to build healthier lives,
free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke. To learn more about their goals, cutting-edge research initiatives and how you can make a difference, go to https://

In the spirit of giving back to our local communities... we encourage you to
shop locally, and we encourage you to support your local charities. Quilters
have been in the forefront of giving to their communities for many generations. This year each shop has adopted a local charity to support through the
sale of shop hop kits and merchandise.

Let’s get started
The first step is for you to download the passport from our website
www.washingtonquiltshophop.com or pick up a passport at any participating
shop after June 1st, 2016.
As you travel on the shop hop, you will have your passport stamped at each
shop. You will receive a FREE block pattern for the shop hop quilt. Please, only
one free pattern per person. You must be present to have your passport
stamped.
A fabric kit will be available for PURCHASE to make the block. This kit will contain ALL of the fabric needed to complete the block. Each shop’s block is
unique and is priced at their discretion, which may vary from store to store.
Adults, over the age of 18, are eligible to enter their passport into the prize
drawing. Make sure the checkbox on the back of the passport is marked stating that you are over 18.
Teens/Young adults, under 18, are not eligible for prizes. A passport marked
“Under 18” is to be used, and you will be given a free block pattern. You must
be present to have the passport stamped and receive the free pattern.
For Children, each shop will have a 4x4” block of charm fabric to give out.
To be eligible for prizes, you will turn in a passport stamped by at least 10 shops
by Sunday at 5pm to one of the participating shops. Make sure your name, address, phone number, and email address is printed clearly on the passport. Also
check the box indicating that you are over 18.

SHOP HOP PRIZES
$500 Shopping Spree - One lucky winner will receive a $500 gift card that
can be used at any shop. You can use the card at one shop, or at several
different shops. Its your choice! In store purchases only.
$250 Shopping Spree - One lucky winner will receive a $250 gift card that
can be used at any shop. You can use the card at one shop, or at several
different shops. Its your choice! In store purchases only.
Gift Boxes - 25 lucky hoppers will win a gift box stuffed with fabric,
books, patterns, and notions. Retail value approximately $150/each.
Gift Certificates - 58 hoppers will win $20 gift certificates from participating shops. Certificates are redeemable only at the shop from which it
is issued.
Drawings - Many shops will be holding drawings/raffles within their
store. Locations and prizes will vary by shop.
All Gift Certificates & Shopping Spree Cards must be used by December
31, 2016
