This year's Carnival has the support of the San Diego County Board of Supervisors who issued a resolution urging San Diegans to participate and the city of Coronado whe re Mayor A.J. Overton, issued a proclamation naming July 21-24 "North Island Benefit Carnival Day~· in Co.ronado. Last year about 65,000 San Diegans a t t e n d e d and t~ Carnival ne tted $30,000.
