The new SENNEBOGEN
655 HD duty cycle crawler
crane
In developing the new 655 HD and its
numerous variants, SENNEBOGEN fo­
cused on combining quality workmanship
with cutting-edge technical equipment.
For example it is just as suitable for use with
diaphragm wall grabs and piping machinery
as it is with drag buckets and leads. Both
of its 16-ton winches are driven by highpressure, variable hydraulic motors, and
deliver highly efficient power transmission.
The SENNEBOGEN 655 HD‘s sturdy me­
chanical components are particularly wellsuited to dynamic tasks. They include
extremely wide, robust pulleys which keep
ropes reliably in place and can withstand
huge loads. Then there‘s an optional second
rotation gear, which comes into its own
particularly when the 655 HD is used with
a dragline bucket, because as well as pro­vid­ing extra torque it also saves huge amounts
of time when emptying the bucket. And
the newly-designed fairlead keeps lateral
movement in the luffing rope to a minimum thanks to a pulley rope guide in the
base of the boom.
The 655 HD is the first machine in SENNE­
BOGEN‘s Crane Line to feature Green Ef­fi­ciency technology, which aims to bring
econo­my and ecology into harmony with
one another. Features include temperaturecontrolled fan drives, an automatic startstop system and cutting-edge exhaust
gas treatment, all of which boost performance but minimize fuel consumption
and emissions.

Two winch variants with 25 kN or 30 kN
hoisting force can be installed and enable
high rope speeds. A newly-designed boom
has been specially configured for dynamic
use requirements. Simultaneously a slewing
ring with a particularly strong design with
large gearing ensure high torque and robust
operation. Thus a long service life is guar­
anteed even under high loads. A newly
designed fairlead in the lower boom section
ensures low-wear rope guidance and a long
component service life. As an additional
innovation, the 6130 HD comes with a newly
designed telescoping undercarriage.
Re­tracted, the undercarriage has a transport
width that measures less than 4 m. In use
the machine has a comfortable 5.10 m sta­bilizing width and promises ideal stabil­ity.
With the help of the hydraulically adjust­
able A-frame, the 6130 HD can also indepen­dently ballast itself, meaning it is opera­
tional in no time.

With the 673 R-HD SENNEBOGEN presents
a powerful 70 ton crane, whose stable
crawler tracks and continuously tele­
scoping boom arm render it extremely
flexible and reliable. The SENNEBOGEN
673 R-HD performs impressively on the
job with its highly robust design and
compact dimensions.
Less than 3 m wide on the highway, the
machine can be transported quickly and
easily. It is ready to use as soon as it arrives
at the site. The 673 R-HD easily gets the
job done with its 36 m long boom arm.
The four-stage telescoping boom extends
smoothly under hydraulic actuation; all the
functions are fully available even under loads.
As telescopic crane of the new E-series,
the 673 R-HD satisfies Tier 3b/4i emission
standards thanks a soot particle filter and
exhaust aftertreatment system. The new
SENNEBOGEN control and diagnostics
system SENCON offers a clear view of all
operating parameters and easy, intuitive
user control. Thanks to a large support
base and wide baseplates, the machine
can stand securely even in dynamic tasks
on difficult terrain.
The maXcab ergonomic cabin can be raised
an additional 2.7 m and tilt up to 30 degrees
to provide a commanding view – a unique
solution in construction industry.

In the course of converting to the current
engine generation, for bauma 2013 SENNE­­BOGEN is presenting a new crawler crane
of the 80 t class. The new SENNEBOGEN
2200 comes with a broader undercarriage,
higher lift loads and optimized hydraulics.
As a classic construction crane, the 2200
crawler crane offers abundant force re­serves with a 120 kN winch and rope speeds
to 125 m/min. Thanks to the 186 kW CAT diesel engine and an optimized multi-circuit
hydraulic system, effective lifting operation
is always ensured. A newly developed tele­scoping crawler undercarriage with a sta­bi­lizing width of 5 m ensures optimal sta­bility
and high loads. And the machine remains
easy to transport with a track width of just
2.6 m and 3.5 m. A newly designed rear
ballast offers lift loads to 80 t, and it is
quickly mounted thanks to the innovative
self-mounting system. The lattice boom
can also be variably designed from 12.1 m
to 59.7 m in accordance with the SENNEBOGEN modular system. Moreover, three
fly boom variants with 13.1 m to 24.3 m
offer additional flexibility on the construction site. As the first crawler crane of the
E-series, the 2200 with Green Efficiency
Technology not only satisfies the Tier 3b/4i
requirements, thanks to Eco Mode it is
also impressive due to the high energy
efficiency and the SENCON control and
diagnostics system.

SENNEBOGEN 875
E-Series – optimal for
port material handling
With the 875 E-Series SENNEBOGEN is
presenting a product innovation, which
impresses with a maximum load capacity
of 7,5 t at 27 m reach.
Whether handling general cargo or bulk
goods, the new SENNEBOGEN 875 is im­
pressive with its high materials handling
capacity, with proven low energy costs
and operating costs that have even been
further reduced, thanks to a new energy
recovery system. When lowering the boom,
the energy is buffered in a third cylinder.
This energy, virtually with­out loss, is then
available again for the next work stroke.
Equipped with a modern Cummins 391 kW
diesel engine, the machine fully satisfies
the Tier 3b/4i requirements. Al­ter­natively
a 430 kW cost-saving electric motor is
available.
Optionally the machine can also be equipped with the new Master­cab in combination with the variable Skylift 900 cabin
elevation unit. Then the operator cab can
be variably adjusted over a height of 9.5 m.
The proven SENNEBOGEN modular concept
offers extensive superstructure variants to
meet customer requirements. From mobile
undercarriage to crawler and rail undercarriage, extending to sophisti­cat­ed gantry and
pylon solutions for special application areas,
all can be individ­ually implemented.

The new SENNEBOGEN 8130 EQ demon­
strates its credentials as a balance material
handling machine through its energy
efficiency and excellent value for money.
The latest product development from
SENNEBOGEN is consistently balanced in
any situation and guarantees minimal energy
and running costs in daily use, both on the
scrapyard and in port material handling,
thanks to the classic lever principle behav­
iour. In contrast to conventional hydraulic
material handling machines, the 8130 EQ
enables savings of up to 75 % in energy and
running costs compared with a conventional
hydraulic material handler with diesel en­gine. An adjustable counterweight ensures
that the machine always remains perfectly
balanced in any position. Savings in running
costs and energy costs of up to 50 % can
be achieved just by using this sophisticated
balance concept. Used in combination with
the electro­hydrau­lic drive concept, further
considerable savings are possible. As an
electric machine, the 8130 EQ uses just 25 %
of the energy re­quired by similar dieselpowered machinery. There are even more

830 M-HDS
After the premiere of the SENNEBOGEN
830 M of the new E-Series, the 830 is coming
to bauma 2013 in several heavy duty vari­
ants. A version with reinforced undercar­
riage, a trailer concept and tires for use on
rough terrain make the machine ready for
universal implementation.
Equipped with a 164 kW Cummins diesel
engine, the SENNEBOGEN 830 of the new
E-series is impressive with extremely
powerful propulsion. Three variants of
mobile carriages are available for this. The
830 M-HD is impressive with a reinforced
undercarriage for maximum loads. With
large-dimensioned single tires, the 830
M-HDS is designed for operation on rough
terrain even off of paved surfaces. And
ultimately, the machine is convincing with
the trailer concept of the SENNEBOGEN
830 M-T, with up to 80 t pulling force for a
towed trailer, it really shows its strength
as a logistics machine on the timber
stockyard. Equipped with the proven
hydraulic maXcab that can be raised and
moved forward, the operator maintains
the overview in any situation. Equipment
lengths from 14 m to 17 m and easy and
safe access for maintenance and service

SENNEBOGEN 835 Electro
An electric motor saves up to 50 % of oper­ating costs and energy in direct compari­
son with a conventional, diesel-powered
solution. With the new 835 Electro of the
current E-Series, SENNEBOGEN is bringing
to bauma 2013 a well thought-out machine
concept that satisfies the most rigorous
requirements in the area of modern ma­
terial handling.
For many years SENNEBOGEN has been
offering material handling machines in
electric versions, from the factory. As the
first machine of the new E-Series, the new
835 Electro comes with an optimized, userfriendly component arrangement, increased
cooling capacity, and numerous undercarriage variants. The standard electric motor
offers a powerful 160 kW. For particularly
heavy implementations, for instance when
handling bulk materials, a stronger 200 kW
motor is available as an option. However,
the electric propulsion also means low noise
emissions, less wear, and extremely quiet
operation without having to stop to refuel.
Ideal accessibility and user-friendly in daily
operation guarantees the central switch box
mounted behind the operator cab. SENCON,
the SENNEBOGEN control system, ensures
intelligent networking of the individual
components and easy handling. Equipment
variants from 16 m to 18 m and high loads
make the 835 Electro a reliable all-round
machine.

718 Forestry Multifunctional Harvester
World innovation: SENNEBOGEN 718 Forestry –
the special crawler harvester
With the 718 Forestry, SENNEBOGEN is
extending its forest machine product range
with a special 24 t class crawler harvester.
With compact dimensions and forest tele­scopic boom specially developed by SENNE­BOGEN itself, the 718 F is designed for
work in dense and difficult forested areas.
A robust crawler undercarriage and a multifunction quick change system for various
implements make the machine a reliable
forest specialist. With generous ground
clearance of 0.6 m and a track width of
2.20 m for the long drive unit with startup diagonals on both sides, the machine
is not only extremely stable but can also
maneuver without hindrance on difficult
terrain and on wet ground. The robust, twolink plates protected by strong support
skids are available to a maximum track pad
width of 800 mm. Thus ground pressure is
reduced to a minimum – this protects the
forest floor. With a reach of 13 m, the variable telescoping boom is impressive, and
has an enormous net lift force even at full
reach. Thanks to the specially developed
boom with specialized kinematics for work
ranges between 0 and 13 m, you can work
with the attachment even just in front of
the machine.
The elevating Multicab comfort cab offers
the operator an ideal all-round view with
a view height of up to 4.80 m. With its
compact dimensions and short rear slewing
radius, the SENNEBOGEN 718 Forestry
remains distinctly slender and maneuver­
able. This advantage is particularly noticeable when working in confined conditions.
Even at a track pad width of 800 mm the
transport width of the machine remains
under 3 m.

The recycling expert: SENNEBOGEN 821 E-Series
For all recycling and sorting tasks, SENNE­
BOGEN presents the new SENNEBOGEN 821
E-Series. The machine is a real all-rounder,
covering a broad range of uses with reaches
of up to 12 m and an operating weight of
23.9 t.
Equipped with a 97 kW Cummins diesel
engine that satisfies the current Stage 3b
directives with no compromises, SENNEBOGEN 821 is coming to bauma 2013 with
a completely new design and optimized
technology. Now available also for this
class of machine, the maXcab comfort cab
offers the operator maximum operating
comfort, an excellent overview and a high
level of safety.
Thanks to the strong wheeled undercarriage
with 4-point outriggers or optional bulldo­z­er blade, the 821 is not only stable and
safe but can also be used with the utmost
flexibility at speeds of up to 20 km/h. In
addition to different equipment lengths
from 9 m to 12 m and ULM stick variants,
the proven SENNEBOGEN modular system
also offers customer-specific versions with
wheeled and crawler undercarriage or special
solutions. The elevating maXcab comfort
cab with sliding door, comfortable seat and
automated heater/air conditioner offers the
operator a pleasant working environment.
Thanks to an elevated position and gen­er­
ously dimensioned windows, the operator
is always guaranteed an excellent view.

Six different quick changing devices are
available at the SENNEBOGEN material
handling machines. The scope starts with
simple quick change couplings and extends

system Tool Control ensures simple and
safe working and an optimal configuration
of the hydraulic parameters of up to ten
attachments.
SENNEBOGEN Powerpack SP100
With the new Powerpack SP100, SENNE­
BOGEN offers a convenient solution for
moving electric machines regardless of the
location.
The mobile energy station feeds up to 119
kW power into the hydraulic system and
enables operation of an electric machine
independently of a contiguous power supply.
To do this, the Powerpack is mounted on
the undercarriage and connected to the ap­
propriate hydraulic consumers via quickrelease couplings and directional valves.
The movement and undercarriage functions
are operated conveniently and safely via
remote radio control. The new SENNEBOGEN control and monitoring system,
SENCON, also harmonizes perfectly with
the optional Powerpack.
