Aware of the ongoing trend for minimalism, absence of
color, and black and white photography I decided to do a
group of black and white paintings that would look like
their own photos. It was challenging painting with only
two colors. I liked the results, but in the end I couldn’t help
adding a touch of color here and there. I guess a painter
is a painter is a painter after all and not a photographer.
