Consumer Extended Warranty
How the program works?
To extend the warranty by 1 year
to a total of 3 years, the consumer
will need to take only 2 steps:
Consumers who purchase two-stroke gasoline
powered Husqvarna branded handheld products,
including: chainsaws, blowers, hedge trimmers, pole
pruners/saws and trimmers, for non-income producing personal use or household purposes, excluding
commercial, agricultural, retail, industrial and rental
usage types, can extend their product warranty from
the standard 2 years to either a 3 year or 4 year
limited warranty with the purchase of oil or fuel.

First, the consumer must purchase
at least 6 bottles of Husqvarna brand
2-stroke oil regardless of size and/or
type at the same time to qualify. Both
purchases must be on the same product
invoice/receipt to qualify.

To extend the warranty by 2 years
to a total of 4 years, the consumer
will need to take only 2 steps:
First, the consumer must purchase at
least 3 bottles of the 32oz Husqvarna
brand pre-mix fuel at the same time as
the product to qualify. Both purchases
must be on the same product
invoice/receipt to qualify.

Authorized Husqvarna dealers and select retailers
nationwide.
What’s Required?
(a) Qualified products sold after February 1, 2013
(b) Consumers must purchase fuel and/or oil on the
same invoice/receipt as the qualifying handheld item.
(c) Only online product registration is offered for
this program.
Is Bar & Chain oil included in this extended
warranty program?
No. Only 2-stroke oil is included in the program.
Product registration must be completed for any
extended warranty. During the product registration
process, a copy of the receipt must be attached to the
registration. If receipt cannot be
attached, a copy of the receipt
and registration must be
mailed into Husqvarna.
Second, the consumer must register
their product online.**

For Multiple Units Purchased: Each
unit/whole good purchased must have
an accompanying amount of 2-stroke oil
or fuel added to the original receipt in
order to qualify.
For example, if a consumer purchases a 455
rancher chainsaw and a 125B handheld blower
and would like to have them both qualify for a 4
year limited warranty, they will need to purchase
a total of 6-32oz. cans of premix fuel (3 for the
chainsaw and 3 for the handheld blower).

Submit reciept
Consumer must submit a copy of the original invoice/
receipt online or by mail-in to qualify.*

and your confirmation number from the registration
confirmation email on your copy of the receipt and
