Belgium VTM has ordered a new season of Rijker dan je Denkt, the local version of
British show Antiques Roadshow. Distributed by BBC Worldwide.
Denmark Coverage of the World Cup continues to dominate the weekly ratings chart.
Finland MTV3 will air a local version of Israeli format The Gran Plan. A Russian version
is also in development for Ren TV. Distributed by Armoza Formats.
France Gulli has ordered Cache Moi si tu Peux. In the game show, children play hide
and seek in a custom-built house. Produced by 2P2L and Talk To You.
Germany On 2 August, Pro7 launches physical game show Crash Games – Jeder Sturz
Zahlt. Three pairs of contestants must overcome a series of obstacles. Produced by
Endemol.
Israel Channel 10’s CEO Rafi Ginat resigned this week, which adds to the uncertainty of
the already troubled broadcaster.
Italy On 3 July, Canale5 premiered Temptation Island. Couples who have reached a
defining moment in their relationship travel to a summer resort. Produced by Fascino

Netherlands Singing competition Beat It airs on SBS6 from 30 August at 8pm. Produced

Sweden SVT has created a new slot for locally produced comedy, with programmes to

A second season of the local version of Dutch quiz show What Do I Know? has been
ordered by M6. Three celebrities and three hundred students answer general
knowledge questions. After fifty questions, the celebrity and student with the highest
score work together to win as much of the cash prize as possible. Distributed by Talpa.

Coming Soon in Germany:

On Saturday 2 August at 10.55pm, Pro7 launches physical game show Crash Games –
Jeder Sturz Zahlt. Three pairs of contestants must overcome a series of obstacles. The
final two couples compete in the finale, where a €5, 000 prize is available. Produced by
Endemol.

Game show Himmel Oder Holle (Heaven or Hell) launches Saturday 9 August at 8.15pm
on Pro7. Presented by Jochen Schropp, contestants have to answer questions correctly
if they want to stay in ‘paradise.’ If they answer incorrectly, they take on tough
challenges in ‘hell.’ If the tasks are completed successfully, the player can move back to
‘paradise.’ Produced by UFA Show & Factual.
In Development in Germany:

ZDF has ordered a local version of Dutch science show Checkpoint. Children answer
science questions, working out their answers through carrying out experiments.

Keshet’s Big Brother continues to dominate the weekly ratings chart, taking the top two
places this week.

Comedy series Traffic Light rates well for Keshet, improving on last week’s 21.9% TVR
and placing third in the weekly ratings chart with a 24.6% TVR on 26 June. Keshet has
stated that this will be the last season of the show; the final episode aired on 3 July
2014.

Keshet’s undercover consumer show Fair & Square begins a new season on 26 June and
places 7th in the weekly ratings chart with a 20.3% TVR.

Reshet’s The Voice drops to 5th and 6th place in the weekly ratings chart, having placed
3rd last week.

Channel 10’s reality series The Extra Mile (Endemol) continues with an 8.2% TVR on 24

Documentary series Bonus Track aired on Sky Arte HD on Wednesday 2 July at 9.10pm.

Italia 1 has also ordered a local version of The Secret Millionaire. Wealthy benefactors
go undercover to visit under-privileged areas in order to donate a share of their fortune

A local version of Gogglebox will air on Italia1. Members of the public review TV shows
that have aired over the past week, passing judgement from their own homes.
