Mounting:
You can attach this helmet mount to almost any kind of helmet with ventilation openings without
using adhesives. It will only take you a few steps to fix a Lupine lighting head on your helmet.
To ensure maximum life span even in unfavourable conditions, the inlay of the helmet mount is
made of EPDM rubber foam. The side parts are made of genuine leather, each velcro strap is
double sewn.
Mounting is very easy; just follow the instructions given on the next pages. Pictures will visualise
each step.
Insert each velcro strap into two of the ventilation openings available on your helmet. Each helmet
is different; therefor we cannot give precise advice on which openings to use. You may need to try
various positions and find out which one suits you most. Hint: Many ventilation openings are
sloping to the front. Thus, you should attach the helmet mount as close to the front rim as
possible. Only then the helmet mount will not slip downward. Now you need to insert both velcro
straps into the openings of the helmet mount as shown on the picture. This may be a little tricky as
long as the straps are quite new. After a while, however, the straps will become softer and
mounting will be easier.
Hint:
In most cases, both velcro straps are too long. However, you should shorten the straps to the suitable length only after mounting and unmounting the helmet mount completely. This will ensure
that in the end the straps will not be too short.

Now pull both straps firmly ( the helmet mount should be right in the middle ), then press the
upper velcro against the counterparts. You should do so also with the remaining parts of the
upper straps all the way to the inside of the helmet. Then the straps will not stick out. Shake the
helmet mount a little to test whether it is fixed safely. As a next step, mount your Lupine as
shown on the picture. Your Lupine helmet light is now ready for use.
