Leadership Bootcamp is an annual conference favorite. Come
experience this highly interactive, engaging, and unique way to
learn leadership skills and tools to help you become the best leader you can be: in your workplace, in IAAP, and in your personal
life. What is “leadership” anyway? Leadership in 2016 is different
than leadership in 1986. Do you know how to lead through your
actions? Do you know how to lead without authority? Leadership
for the administrative professional is different than leadership for
the c-suite… but do you know the differences? Through the use
of fully interactive, fun, and applicable workshop activities, we’ll
discuss what leadership means to everyone, and how they can apply the same leadership skills that are used to run organizations
of thousands to their own roles back at work. Dress is casual, and
participation is a must. Make plans to attend this essential session
that offers leadership development for any and all office and administrative professionals!

Excelling @ Excel: Helpful Data Functions,
Manipulating and Analyzing Data

This intermediate session will use Excel as a database, perform
analytics, and teach important functions. Learn how to download
a database from another source and manipulate the information
through filters and sorts using multiple criteria. Analyze the
database using PivotTables and SubTotals. Use the SUM,
AVERAGE, COUNT, COUNTA, and TODAY functions in our
database tables. To assist in setting up or importing a database
table, learn functions, including CONCATENATE, LEFT, RIGHT,
and UPPER/LOWER plus the functionality of Text-to-Columns.

• Analyze information with PivotTables and SubTotals

from one worksheet and display it on another worksheet; learn
how to reconcile different worksheets using VLOOKUP. Create
drop down lists and ensure input and data integrity through data
validation. Learn how to use protection and restrict editing in our
workbooks and worksheets, as well as require a password for our
workbooks and worksheets. Finally, use macros to perform shortcuts for formatting, sorting, and page set-up.

Customize your IAAP Summit 2016 experience with a registration
package that is tailored to meet your education needs and
budgetary requirements. Choose from the Premium or Standard
registration packages detailed below:
Premium Package attendees can participate in a combination of
education on Saturday, July 23, that will provide up to 6 IAAP
CAP recertification points. When choosing the Premium Package,
registrants will select their Saturday schedule.
Buy 4 Premium package registrations and receive 1 Premium
package registration complimentary! To qualify, registrants must
be employed by the same company, registration forms must all
be received at one time, registrations must be accompanied by
IAAP’s Corporate Discount Form, and one payment is made for
all registrations. An example of one payment is a check with total
payment for all 4 Premium registrants. No other groups qualify as
a company.

• Ticketing: IAAP Summit 2016 Premium Package attendees
receive one ticket to the Closing Celebration: Dinner &
Party. Premium Package attendees may purchase one guest
ticket (for individuals who are NOT registered for IAAP
Summit 2016) for $125. Guest tickets may be purchased at the

IAAP Summit 2016 photographer
Exulting Images will be joining IAAP in Hollywood to provide
high quality, affordable, professional headshots and group photos
to IAAP Summit attendees. Be sure to take advantage of the great
packages they will be offering:
• Headshots, small group photos, and event pictures $10: You
will receive personally selected, digital pictures on CD upon
checkout. *Discount: 50% Savings after you purchase 10 images!
11th picture + is only $5! • Upgraded headshot $30: You will receive a digital head shot
and photo re-touching; softening of fine lines, brighter eyes,
whitening of teeth, via email within 2 weeks post event.
• Closing Celebration photos: There will be a formal portrait
station where you will be able to take formal portraits by
yourself or up to 8 people in a group. All images from this
event will be available on the Exulting Images website within
2 weeks. Digital downloads will be $15 each.

Travel & Transportation
Airport
The Diplomat Resort & Spa is located approximately 10 miles from the Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL). FLL is
serviced by most major airlines.
Ground Transportation to/from Airport
• Those traveling from FLL please note that all ground transportation services—including rental car agencies, taxi, and limousine
services—are located on the lower level of the terminal buildings.
• SuperShuttle is approximately $20 per person each way. For more information and/or to book a SuperShuttle reservation visit
www.supershuttle.com or call 800.258.3826. Remember to use the IAAP discount code: IAAP1 and receive 10% off when you make
your reservations!
• GO Airport Shuttle is approximately $15 per person each way. For more information and/or to book a GO Shuttle reservation visit

• Taxi fare will be approximately $35 each way for the 10-mile ride.
Unique & Cost Effective On-site Transportation
There are three unique low cost transportation options that can provide you with a ride and an adventure:
• The Hollywood Trolley offers $1 rides! Trolleys depart approximately every 30-40 minutes from over a dozen trolley stops in
Hollywood Beach and Historic Downtown. The Hollywood Trolley stops at the Diplomat Resort & Spa.
• The Water Taxi offers scheduled stops at the Diplomat Resort & Spa throughout the day and evening. The water taxi has over 15
stops and whistle stops on its route. Pricing is varied and includes options for multi-day passes. An all-day unlimited access ticket
is $26.
• B-Cycle is a bicycle sharing program with many stations in the area, giving you the opportunity for a two wheel cruise down the two
mile auto-free oceanfront Broadwalk! Pricing varies, so be sure to check out the options that will work best for you before you ride.
IAAP Hub
The IAAP Hub is your one stop shop for all things IAAP. From answers to your questions about certification, membership, The
Foundation, and more, HQ team members and volunteers are there to assist you. In addition, attendees can purchase the latest in IAAP
apparel and gifts, and of course a wide selection of educational books.
IAAP Summit cancellation policy
Cancellation and refund requests received in writing by June 7, 2016 will qualify for a refund, less a $100 administrative fee, per
registration. Refunds are not available to registrants who receive the corporate discount. Refund requests should be emailed no later
than June 7, 2016 to [email protected]. Refunds will be processed within 10-15 business days. No refunds will be issued after June 7,
2016 at 5:00 p.m. CT.
Event payment
IAAP accepts check, money order, or credit card payments (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover) in U.S. Dollars. IAAP
cannot process registrations without full payment and a completed registration form. Once submitted to IAAP, the form of payment
may not be changed.
Special dietary needs
IAAP is happy to accommodate your special dietary needs within reason and to the best of our ability, prior to conference. Please be
sure to be as specific as possible on your registration form, regarding your dietary needs. Please note: if you decline to specify your
needs in advance, we cannot guarantee that we can accommodate your needs on-site.

A company may receive one complimentary Premium package registration with four or more paid Premium package registrants from the same company. To qualify,
registrations must be received at one time accompanied by IAAP’s Event Corporate Discount Form and one payment for all registrants. (An example of one payment is a check

Corporate discount is subject to approval, one discount per company. Offer not available with online registration. No refunds available for canceled registrants who received
