JM Cellars is a local family’s labor of love. They strive to craft exceptional wine that honors
the land, delights those who share it and celebrates the people who work with them. JM
Cellars takes their winemaking seriously, but vows never to become so resolute that they
forget why they came to Bramble Bump Estate in Woodinville Washington in the first place: to
live well, laugh often and love much. It is this underlying attitude that brought JM Cellars to
where they are today, though they admittedly didn’t know where it would lead them when
they crushed their first grapes in the basement of their Seattle home in 1998. At the time,
owners John and Peggy Bigelow were focused on work and raising a family, but couldn’t
shake a nagging voice telling them there was something “more.” From the Bigelow’s first
vintage, they knew they had found their calling. “Winemaking not only gave us that extra sense of
purpose but also taught us that hard work could be fun”. It satisfied the Bigelow’s desire to grow
and create something tangible and afforded them the opportunity to share their work not only
with immediate family but also with the wide circle of friends the winery has brought them.
Always mindful of the desire to keep this endeavor from becoming more important than their
desire for community and laughter, JM Cellars has grown slowly. Daniel’s Broiler is proud to
showcase three of the many fine wines made at Bramble Bump in Woodinville Washington
with such love and care. Please raise a glass and celebrate our feature of JM Cellars and the
fine wines that they produce.
Bramble Bump White Blend 2012
(Chardonnay 75% Viognier 25%)
Medium straw-colored revealing mineral, apple and hazel
nuts. Also, notes of peach, apricot and baking spices
linger on the palate.
13 glass / 50 bottle
Margaret’s Vineyard Estate Red Blend 2009
(Cabernet 37% Merlot, Malbec & Cab Franc 17%
Carmenere & Petit Verdot 6%)
Notes of dark berry fruit with dried herbs, tobacco and
wood smoke. Also, a rather heavy overlay of toasted,
caramelized oak and a finish that is impressive in its sheer
persistence.
15 glass / 60 bottle
Bramble Bump Red Blend 2011
(30% Cabernet, 28% Merlot, 15% Syrah, 13% Petit Verdot,
11% Carmenere, and 3% Malbec)
Offering up aromas of cedar and earth notes and flavors
of black currants, violets and dark plums.
18 glass / 70 bottle
