Sánchez-Tercero and Mr José Alonso create
CATRI, S.L. with the purpose of giving high
technological level solutions for the different

Nowadays and since some years ago, Mr
Raúl Alonso is manager of the company,
looking at the future, boosting the industrial
cooling line and creating new ones (panels,
doors, civil work, etc…) that makes them

Facilities CATRI, S.L.
is a leader

of advanced technology cooling
systems.
Its demonstrated experience (since
1969) and the motivation of its human
resources guarantee in every project a
study based on the technique and not on
the economic spare of the installation

Given the increase of the electricity
company rates and CATRI, S.L.’s concern
for the energy saving, we apply, among
others, technologies as FLOATING
CONDENSATION,
EVAPORATIVE
CONDENSERS, HYBRID SYSTEMS, etc.,
achieving savings above 25 % of the
annual final consumption.
For the perfect application of those
technologies, a control system with
programmable automaton and electronic
expansion valves are needed, as well as
frequency inverters, etc. For it, a HIGLY
QUALIFIED technical staff is needed, for
the design as well as for the execution.
We also use other energy savings
technologies, like energy accumulation
(ice room), geothermal energy resources,
etc.

Facilities CATRI, S.L. is engaged with the
environment, this is why we offer solutions
with ecological coolants like AMMONIA,
since its advantages are well-known: it does
not destroy the ozone layer and it does not
contribute to the greenhouse gas related to
global warming. Besides, we must not forget
that the cooling with AMMONIA is the most
economic and efficient energy method for the
process and stocking for frozen and
refrigerated food.
As coolant, AMMONIA offers four clear
economic advantages over other coolants
commonly used.
• AMMONIA is compatible with the
environment. It does not destroy the ozone
layer and does not contribute to the earth
global warming.
• AMMONIA has superior thermodynamic
properties, so the cooling systems with
AMMONIA consume less electric energy.
AMMONIA is the coolant with the highest
cooling effect per unit weight.
industrial coolants that are odorless, because
the leaks are easily and quickly detected. The
strong smell of the AMMONIA makes people
leave the area where the leak takes place
before a dangerous concentration takes
place.
• Cost and availability. The cost of
AMMONIA is much lower than any synthetic
coolant. Its installation usually costs from 10
to 20% less, and since it is a natural
substance, it does not have a due date to be
produced or used, unlike
other synthetic coolants
whose use or production is
limited
to
some years.
• The characteristic smell of the AMMONIA
is its highest safety quality, unlike other

in our stores we use the new generation
panels with polysocianurate isolation
soul (PIR) with which we achieve a great
isolation and a better fire resistance

the materials used, and the CORRECT

• Structural assurance
• Use of neutral silicone. It does not get
an old look and does not get yellow.
• Use of concave sanitary finishing outlines with solid base, which avoids the
accumulation of dirt in the inside and
makes them more resistant.
• We avoid heat bridges between corner
and wall-ceiling panels, injecting it with
isolation foam and adzing in freezing.
• Perfect floor isolation and sealing,
avoiding damps and floor breaking, etc.

not conditioned to install one brand or
another, but from the large experience
we know which is the most adequate

Floors

ensure a perfect application of the
product, which involves to a large extent
the lasting of the floor.

Epoxy resin floors: based on epoxy
resins. They are appropriate floors for
food processing plants, pharmaceutical
plants, etc., because they are lasting and
resistant to the erosion. It can be applied
in different colours.
Antacid porcelain stoneware floor: this
floor is specially recommended for places
where
acids
are
common,
pharmaceutical industry, milk industry,
etc. This is where the product perfectly
complies with its task of quality and
durability.

White rooms
According to ASHRAE, a white room (clean
space) is defined as a special build closed
area that has the function to control, from an
environment point of view, the following
parameters:

Walls
Built in “sandwich” type panel. Panels
are constituted by a poliisocianurate
foam soul or wool pad.
Sealing
For the panel sealing we use mono
components silicones made of permanent
elasticity and big adherence polyurethane,
which quickly cure due to the humidity
action, which allows an impermeable and
elastic sealing.
This allows the needed sealing to get the
wanted pressurization rate and prevents the
uncontrolled air entry and the entry and exit
of polluting elements.

Ceilings
Built with the same materials as the ones used for
the walls, being passable in the upper part to
facilitate the maintenance tasks. We also install
semi passable and light ceilings.
The lightings are always embedded and joggled
in the ceiling and will be completely sealed.
Doors
We configure doors according to the needs,
whether they are pivoting or sliding, with flat
finishing in lacquered sheet, stainless steel,
pvc sheet or phenolic resin and as optional
normal peepholes, flat peepholes, locks,
automatisms, invisible hinges.
