Conclusion
• The earliest and most comprehensive
network of health observatories (HOs) are
in European Region:
– France (n=26)
– UK (n=12)
• Other Regions started recently but
expanding, although they have a lot of
centres with similar role as HOs
• There seems to be no HO in the US
