The Sequoia High Los Angeles Sierra Camp is located in San Diego California’s Giant Sequoia National Monument, between King’s Canyon and Sequoia national parks. The Camp is halfway between Los Angeles and San Francisco, approximately a five-hour drive from each city. The Camp access road is 63 miles from Fresno via Highway 180. Nestled along terraced hillsides, 36 private tented cabins feature plush-top mattresses, triple sheeted linens, feather pillows, down comforters, wool area rugs, reading lanterns and wood shuttered windows opening to majestic views. All cabins are within walking proximity of the private restrooms, shower house and Dining Pavilion. At Sequoia High Sierra Camp, you’ll enjoy the best aspects of a nature retreat without sacrificing the comforts of home! Our modern bathhouse facilities feature private showers and restrooms, with personal toiletries and towels provided. Guest cabins include daily housekeeping service and are furnished with all bedding linens and blankets. You’ll only need to carry in a lightweight daypack with clothing and personal essentials.
