HELP Jamaica! is a registered non-profit organisation founded 2008 in Germany and 2009 in Jamaica with
an international network of supporters in Europe, the US, the UK, Japan and the Caribbean.
Our primary goal is to raise funds in order to support and establish library and education projects in deprived Jamaican communities and aspire to provide free education, especially for children and youths who
otherwise don‘t have access to books and computers.
We appoint skilled and caring staff to teach advanced reading- and computer skills, a necessity
for success in school and life! Our programs will encourage creativity, talent, hope, ambition and
excellence. We believe in inspiration and qualification as a means to break the vicious circle of
poverty, violence and crime. Education For A Change!
Cooperations with soundsytems, artists, promoters, music & clothing labels, companies, embassies and
dedicated individuals create a network to accomplish our aims. For the making of this charity-calendar we
got additionally supported by a group of international photographers! Check the credits for detailed info

Last year we produced 250 calendars and were sold out after 3 weeks, for 2011 we are going to print 500
pieces….

The making of this (our second) charity-calendar was again a very positive experience - everybody we
asked to be involved in producing the calendar immediately and generously agreed to support the worthy
cause. All photographers who provided their photos, as well as the graphic designer worked for free and
offered their photo-material and time voluntarily. The 2011 HELP Jamaica! Charity Calendar would not
have been possible without the generous encouragement and support of all these people! Thanks a lot
and big up yourself!
