Welcome to the August edition of the Crocker Park tenant newsletter.
Here is the good news for this month!
As you may know, we’re known for beautiful gardens and flowers here at Crocker Park. With all the
expansion, we’ve added many new areas with beautiful flower pots and beds. I want to thank my grounds
team for keeping up with the flowers this year, the lack of rain pushed the team to the limits and they’ve done
a great job.
Nice job to all those that were involved with the RNC. As you know, we’ve had guests living in the
apartments for the past 3 months, the Hyatt was booked solid and many visitors enjoyed dining and shopping
– we put the red/white/blue bunting up for the majority of July for all the guests to enjoy their stay.
Some will like this….and some will not, but school is around the corner. August is a perfect time for back
to school shopping and for the second year in a row – Ohio is offering tax-free back-to-school shopping on
clothes, shoes and school supplies August 5th to 7th. Guests can enjoy no sales tax on clothing items under
$75 or on school supplies under $20. For more information, visit www.tax.ohio.gov.
Sign up for an awesome outdoor cycling experience – Spin for Din on Sunday, August 7th and help raise
money for the Hunger Network of Greater Cleveland. Every $1 donated provides 4 meals to hungry children
in Cuyahoga County. Cycling classes will take place in the East Park, by the Roche Wealth Management of
Raymond James Stage.
New event – the Junior League of Cleveland is hosting a new event – Glowga on Saturday, August 13th. The
event will feature a 60 minute vinyasa flow (all levels) followed by a summer’s eve fête. Thanks to 3 Sisters
Yoga for partnering with us! Event Details: 7pm registration; 8-9pm yoga; 9-10pm beer and wine tasting.
Cleveland Health Fest is back on Saturday, August 20th between 10am and 3pm – last year over 40 vendors
were in the East Park. Meet and mingle with some of Cleveland’s healthiest companies while, sampling,
shopping, and participating in fitness programs and talks.
Crocker Park’s Wine Festival tickets are now on sale. General admission is $22 per day or a weekend pass is

We want to welcome our new neighbors – American Greetings as their staff starts to transition to the new
building from August 15th through September 19th. And, we have a new announcement – Noodlecat is
moving next to Nordstrom and Starbucks Reserve is moving next to Graeter’s Ice Cream.

We will network until 5pm then management will give an overview of everything else that is happening at
Crocker Park. The July meeting had over 30 tenants represented and everyone enjoyed the hospitality from
Anthropologie.

RESIDENTIAL MAINTENANCE MANAGER: PETE CLOHERTY
As Residential Maintenance Manager at Crocker Park, Pete Cloherty has been part of the team
since our earliest days. His 11 years of experience in solving problems and helping to make
the residents of Crocker Park comfy in their luxury apartments makes him a very important guy!
There really isn’t a problem that Pete can’t solve in a timely, efficient and friendly way. You
name the problem and Pete comes to the rescue. He likes a challenge and the great thing for
Pete, everyday offers something new.
Not only is Pete the “go-to” guy for residential, he is also a favorite of the management team
for Crocker Park.
Although Pete loves a good game of golf, his favorite hobby is cooking and
baking in his free time. That means lots of delicious treats for Crocker Management when Pete
shares with us some of his favorite recipes. Speaking of which, and we know he’ll read this – but
Pete, it’s been
at least two months since you’ve cooked for us…what gives?

Fun Facts: Pete lives in North Olmsted with his wife, Mary Ellen and his 2 dogs, Baxter and Benny. Pete is a huge Cleveland and
OSU fan – he has cried more tears of joy the past few years with the Buckeyes Championship, Monsters and the CAVS – he’s holding a
special bottle of bubbly for the Indians and Browns!
