A
t World Shoppe, we have always used our business to promote fair
trade and sustainable living conditions in our community, our country,
and around the world. We encourage our family, friends and customers to
get involved because we believe that the smallest voices, joined together,
can make the biggest change.
Purchasing an item from World Shoppe not only helps provide income,
dignity and hope to people in developing regions, but it also helps sustain the
communities by promoting community development, healthcare and childcare,
education and literacy training.
Today, World Shoppe proudly works with several artisan groups in South Africa and Pakistan. Abiding by fair trade

Planet. It’s also a founding board member of Chicago Fair Trade.

Bits for Bytes Scholarship Program
As part of our work to give back to the communities in which we work, World Shoppe launched Bits for Bytes in
September of 2010.
Bits for Bytes is a scholarship program that will benefit Greenwood Independent School in the Western Cape province of South Africa. We’re working hard to raise money to fund two girls’ scholarships as well as four computers for the school since girls
continue to face discrimination with regards to access to education. And, since education plays a great role in fighting poverty, we wanted to support a cause we felt had the strongest impact to reverse the cycle of poverty for girls and women.

Wholesale Terms & Conditions
Thank you for considering World Shoppe’s fair trade accessories for your business.
Minimum order
Minimum order is $100.
Shipping
Merchandise is shipped FedEx Ground unless otherwise specified. Cost of shipping and handling will be added to the
invoice at time of shipping. Returns must be processed within 15 days of original receipt and items must be returned in
original packing conditions. We recommend that you use FedEx, UPS or Insured Parcel Post for shipment.
Payment
We accept MasterCard or Visa as well as checks made out to World Shoppe.
To place an order
There are several ways in which you can place an order:
• Request a wholesale login account at www.World-Shoppe.com (under Wholesale tab). Once approved, you’ll be able
to order securely 24/7 online as well as see past orders for easy reference.
• Request a wholesale price list by emailing us at [email protected] or calling 312-560-2715.
• Emailing ([email protected]) or Faxing (866-256-7826) us your order.
• Meet with one of our sales representatives based throughout the country who can show you samples.
Marketing/Media Outreach
We regularly send product announcements to members of the trade and consumer media to help generate interest and
buzz on our fair trade products. We often list our retailers as sources for local media outlets so consumers can find the
products from a local source. If you’d prefer not to be listed as a source, please let us know.
If you’d like assistance sending out a press release to your local media outlets announcing your fair trade product
introductions, please let us know and we’ll be happy to provide you with samples you can use.
Also, a complimentary CD of hi-res jpg images of our products and artisans is available for your use. Simply ask for a copy
and we’ll include it with your next order!
Backorders
We stock all of our products in Chicago and ship within 24-48 hours via FedEx. Should a product be out of stock, we will
offer you the opportunity to remove the product from your order and add it to your next order or ship it to you once it arrives.
Shipping charges for the backorders will not exceed 10% of the value of the backorder.
