Breast Cancer Cure has one single-minded goal; to find a CURE for breast cancer. Our work becomes
increasingly urgent, as 1 in 9 kiwi women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime.
An incidence rate of 1 in 9 means 1 woman every 3 hours will be diagnosed, nearly 2 women per day will die
from the disease.
Breast cancer is claiming the lives of at least 660 New Zealand women every year, and more than 2600 are
diagnosed with it.
Whilst we can see an end in sight, we are not there yet. We need your help by bidding generously on the
auction items tonight, buying a raffle ticket or purchasing from our CURE Shop.
Fashion for a Cure is one of the many ways that we fund research into finding a cure. The event has been
delivered successfully in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch since 2012, and we held our very first
shows in Hamilton and Queenstown in 2015. All shows are proudly supported by ASB and Fuji Xerox.
There is something for everyone in the auction catalogue and we hope that you are the lucky winning bid on
one or more Lot’s. The rules are simple – all items have to be paid for and collected on the night, and
payment can be via cash, cheque, EFTPOS or Visa/Mastercard.
With your committed support the search for a CURE is accelerating and the concept of a future free of the
fear of breast cancer for New Zealand women can become a reality.

bidding sheets located by the item. When we have a break in Fashion Show (just before we start the
live auction), you will be able to get up from your chair at this time to check on how your bid is
progressing, and re-bid.
