Agent H2O and
Jack Frost want to remind
you to pile discarded snow
from your sidewalk and driveway
onto your lawn and NOT onto the street after a snow fall.
Improper placement of snow in the street causes major
drainage problems during freeze and thaw cycles causing
ice to build up.
The placement of extra snow
on your lawn and flower
beds will help keep them
adequately hydrated
in the spring;
reducing the
amount of water
required from the
sprinkler. Conserving
both your
cash and water.

BOARD AND COMMITTEE VACANCIES
Two lanes or one?
Presently the current roundabout infrastructure is incomplete,
the west side of the roundabout is single lane. Due to a delay in
land acquisition agreements the town was unable to complete
construction. The light grey areas illustrated below indicate future
lane construction once the land agreement is signed.
Future lane
construction after
land agreement is
signed.
Pedestrian Crossing
Yield at entry points.
Traffic entering the
circle yields to traffic
already in the circle.
The red car is also in a
single lane and must yield
to the green car and yellow
car before entering the
circle even if the intent is to
make a right hand turn.
Central
Island
Railroad
tracks
Outside (right-hand)
lane moves in and out
of the circle entering
the circle at the same
time as the green
car because there
is dedicated lane to
complete the right turn.
Because there is only one
lane, the yellow car must yield
to vehicles already in the circle.
Even if the intent is to just make a
right hand turn.
