Club Regina Los Cabos rises above the shoreline where the Sea of Cortez

RAINTREE VACATION CLUB POINTS USAGE SUMMARY

hanks to Raintree Vacation Club’s flexible reservation program, the best destinations in USA,
Mexico, and Canada are yours to choose from. Select from our exclusive resort collection,
decide what type of accommodation suits your needs, then book for the dates you want. It’s
that simple; yet the possibilities are endless.
To choose what type of accommodation suits your needs, please refer to The Points Usage
Summary on Pages 42 through 50. The first column from the left shows our resorts, the second
column shows the unit types, and the third column, titled Cap., is the maximum occupancy and the
private occupancy for each resort’s units (shown as 2/2, 4/4, 6/6 etc.).
The first step in choosing your accommodations is to select your capacity. Go to the third column,
Cap., and choose which capacity works for you. The first number represents the maximum number
of guests a unit will accommodate. The second number represents the number of guests a unit will
accommodate allowing two adults per separate sleeping area with private access to a bathroom.
Next, select the resort and unit corresponding to your preferred capacity.
The dates comprise the blue row located at the top and bottom of the chart.The dates are numbered
by week and corresponding check-in date. The weeks are listed 1 to 52 or 53 (according to the
calendar year), and the check-in date is listed below the week. A week is defined as a seven-night stay
with Saturday check-in and Saturday check-out. Under each week are colored boxes, corresponding
with each resort and unit type, marked with the color of the corresponding Annual Points Allotment.
The Equivalence Chart, vertically located on the far right, shows which colored box represents each
Annual Points Allotment. Find your appropriate colored box (located on the row of your preferred
accommodations), choose the corresponding week for your vacation, and you are set.
Check-in days and times are controlled by each resort’s operating policies. Although most Raintree
Vacation Club resorts use Saturday as their check-in day, certain resorts use Thursday, Friday, or
Sunday. Please check with a Raintree Vacation Guide before booking.

t Raintree Vacation Club, we want you to get the most from your Membership. Knowing how
to use your Membership effectively will lead to greater enjoyment of all of your benefits.
We offer the most innovative and flexible Membership and we know you will derive great
pleasure from all of your vacation opportunities. This section of your Member Directory provides a
summary of the benefits of your Membership within Raintree Vacation Club. For comprehensive and
up to the minute information on your Membership, please visit the secure Members Only section
of www.raintreevacationclub.com.
With your Raintree Vacation Club Membership you can reserve your vacation up to a year in
advance of your check-in date. Any reservation made within Raintree Vacation Club is referred
to as an Internal Exchange. Here are some additional benefits available with Internal Exchanges:
Flexibility and Length of Stay
Your Points are your Raintree Vacation Club currency. You can choose to spend all of the Points
associated with your Membership Type on a vacation of a week or longer. You can also spend
them a little at a time; perhaps enjoying a few long weekends at different Raintree Resor ts.
Borrowing Points
You may borrow Points from your next use years’ Point Allotments. For borrowed Points in a
given use year, you can make a reservation up to 365 days before your check-in date for your
first reservation and up to 59 days before your check-in date for any subsequent reservations.
Example #1: You can borrow from 2014 for usage in 2013. Example #2: If you purchased an
alternate Membership, Points can be borrowed from the next available Points Allotment. If your
alternate Points Allotment is an odd year then you can borrow from 2015 (not 2014) for use in
2013. Remember, your maintenance fees must be paid for a borrowed Point Allotment.

INTERNAL MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS
Guest Certificates
You can make an Internal Exchange and give it to an immediate family member without having
to purchase a guest cer tificate. You may also purchase a guest cer tificate and give it to anyone
you choose.
Saving Points
You may save all or part of your current Points Allotment for use in the next year within Raintree
Vacation Club. Your saved Points are valid for 12 months. Example: If you can’t travel in 2013,
Raintree Vacation Club will automatically save your Points for 2014. If you have an Alternate
Membership, saved Points will be combined with your next available Points Allotment. Point Saving
Fee applies if you are saving your entire Points Allotment.
Raintree Rentals
If you have spent all of your Points and you don’t want to borrow from a future Points Allotment,
you may rent additional time at any of our resor ts on a nightly basis through our special Member
rental rates, Raintree Rentals. You can also enjoy special rates at select resor ts that are not par t
of Raintree Vacation Club. These resor ts include Casa Divina Oaxaca (formerly known as Villa
Vera Oaxaca) and Las Cupulas Oaxaca, which are only available for Raintree Rentals reservations.
Raintree Rentals can be booked up to 365 days prior to your vacation.
Points Plus Cash
You are able to purchase as many one-time use Points as you need to complete a given reservation
through the Points Plus Cash program. Example: if you have an annual Points Allotment of
30,000 Points and you want to reserve a room that costs 50,000 Points, you can buy an extra
20,000 Points and complete the reservation. If the reservation is cancelled you keep the Points
and the amount paid is non-refundable.

EXTERNAL MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS
RCI
®
is the largest vacation exchange company, with more than 5,100 affiliated
resor ts in over 100 countries around the world. As a Raintree Vacation Club Member
you have the ability to make External Exchanges within the RCI network. Whenever
you wish to exchange within RCI, you simply call a Raintree Vacation Guide, and they
will assist you to obtain the vacation you desire, in the most economical way possible.
When exchanging externally with RCI, you have the option of accessing the RCI®
Weeks program or the RCI Points® program. Your Raintree Vacation Club maintenance
fee includes membership in RCI Weeks. For access to RCI Points, an opt-in fee is
required. Thereafter, standard RCI transaction fees apply to both programs.
With either exchange program, your Raintree Vacation Club Points are used to
complete the transaction. Browse the RCI Directory of Affiliated Resor ts by visiting
www.rci.com to determine where your next vacation will be. Then simply contact a
Raintree Vacation Guide and request your External Exchange.
RCI Weeks Exchanges are for traditional seven night stays and can be reserved up
to two years in advance of the check-in date. RCI Points reservations can be made
on a nightly basis and can be reserved up to 10 months in advance. Additionally, you
can use your points for air travel, car rental, hotel stays and enter tainment with RCI
Points par tners.
The RCI Points opt-in fee provides access to RCI Points nightly stays and Points
par tners from the time of opt-in through December 31st of that current year. As long
as you call by December 31st, you can even make reservations with your next available
Points Allotment.
This fee must be paid at the time you wish to make an RCI Points® External Exchange.
You can purchase a Guest Cer tificate for either RCI Weeks or
RCI Points Exchange. To make an External Exchange for RCI
Weeks or RCI Points, contact a Raintree Vacation Guide:

EXTERNAL MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS
For Example:
You can contact a Raintree Vacation Guide and pay a $54 RCI Points opt-in fee in April. You can
then make an RCI Points External Exchange with your current year’s Points Allotment. Then,
as long as you call and make your reservations before the end of that current year (December
31st), you can use your next year’s Points Allotment to make reservations with the RCI Points
program too - without paying another US$54.
With the RCI Points system, your Raintree Vacation Club Membership Type equals a specific
amount of RCI Points:
