Description
This kit enables Polycom customers that currently own either a
SoundStation VTX 1000 or a VSX video system, or both, to
combine the two to make the world's most powerful voice and
video connection. An minimum of VSX Release 7.0 is required.
This kit includes a SoundStation VTX 1000 software license
certificate, (1) 30 foot and (1) VTX/VSX 50 foot ConferenceLink
cable, (1) 3 foot and (1) 10 foot VTX/VCVSX cable and
configuration instructions.

When installed, this license allows the user to have up to (4) sites
connected during a single video conference. This functionality is
also known as an internal MCU. This product consists of a
software license certificate that is returned to the customer with a
key code and activation instructions.

Release 7.0 or higher) and configure the audio settings for patent
pending StereoSurround audio. See Polycom’s Advanced Audio
Technology for Video Conferencing white paper for diagrams and
instructions for setup. This Speaker Kit consists of a subwoofer
with 150 watts output power, (2) 6-inch drivers with bass
response down to 35 Hz and dual speakers that include a 3/4"
silk fabric dome tweeter combined with (2) 3-1/2" composite
midrange drivers for superb sound reproduction at frequency
ranges of 100 Hz to 22 kHz.

Description
This module is inserted into the empty bay of the subwoofer and
enables H.320 calls up to 512 kbps. Having the module in the
subwoofer on the floor eliminates the need to string wires to the
back of the television or plasma and eliminates the extra weight
pulling on the system. To install, remove the blank faceplate
from the back of the subwoofer (remove two screws), then insert
the QBRI module and tighten the two attached screws. This kit
includes the QBRI module with attached screws and (4) BRI
cables.

This module is inserted into the empty bay of the subwoofer and
enables H.320 calls up to 2 Mbps. Having the module in the

Description
The end user uses this remote control to operate the VSX
system’s user interface. This is the simplest, quickest way to
access the menus, but by no means the only way. The user may
choose to operate the user interface using external API
commands through Telnet or a touch control panel or through the
VSX Web utility. This remote control can also be used with
ViewStation Release 7.5 and ViewStation EX/FX and VS4000
Release 5.1 or later. This product comes with (1) remote control.
VSX 8000
The end user uses this remote control to operate the VSX 8000
system’s user interface. This remote is similar to the VSX
Advanced Remote, but has separate Call and Hang-Up buttons
as well as separate Near and Far video camera buttons. This
product comes with (1) remote control.

The primary monitor must be an NTSC or PAL television monitor
and can be connected via S-Video or composite from the back of
the codec. The multi-purpose cable in this kit enables the user to
connect a second display to the video system. One end of this
(6) inch cable connects to a special port on the back of the VSX
7000 and the other end has three outputs across a wide
connector. These outputs include S-Video, Composite and VGA.
Only one of these outputs can be active at one time. This kit
contains a 6-inch adaptor cable.

This security locking cable can be attached at one end to the key
lock insert on the back of the VSX 6000, VSX 7000 or
ViewStation and then tethered to a stationary object like a desk
or cabinet. The sturdy, (6) foot long cable comes with (2) keys
and a nylon zipper pouch. Choose uniquely keyed cables or
order multiple cables and have them all keyed the same with a
set of master keys.
