In the MDV March sessions we finished the
Midas Mirrors project and made key chains
out of old T-shirts fabric. This was a project
that enabled pair work and helping others.
This school’s Darte Students painted their
dreams in pillowcases, decorated mugs about
the weather, painted worry dolls on canvases
and decorated treasure boxes.
We are looking for a

fantastic office in
R.Alexandre Herculano,
ceded by Quinta do Pinto
and a basement in Belém,
where we keep all the
materials and prepare
the sessions.

The Apoio à Vida Mothers painted fruits on
canvases and made na exhibition in the Home.
They also decorated wooden boards with their
children’s names.
In March the Darte Students dedicated themselves to a clay project. Each one created a
piece and then painted it. A free themed
project that pleased all.

This month in AFA, the Darte Students made
a project that will help them organize their
studies: they made and painted cork boards
to pin notes and schedules.
For logistical matters, we
are now looking for a
place in Lisbon that
gathers both:
 Small office
(space for 3 people)
 Training room
(where we can also keep
all the materials)

The Darte Students in Damaia worked on the
same project the group in Chelas did: cork
boards. We talked about school, their
ambitions and motivations.

chair, made by the
Apoio à Vida Mothers,
will be exhibited until
the end of April in the
gallery of Museu da
Carris.

We have a new Kia Venga!
Special artistic morning
Kia has sponsored Projecto Darte
since day 1. Amongst other things, Kia gives us the
opportunity to travel in a car from their fleet for free. This
allows us to travel to the different places where we work,
transporting our team and the materials.
On the 16th of March all Samuel Johnson Primary
School students experimented different activities. In the
Darte Room this was the day when the whole school
painted a table! Using the geometric shapes theme, we
have learned, experimented and created. Little by little,
a beautiful table was decorated!
This month we received this fantastic new Kia Venga.

Aprender e Agir AGM
Master thesis about Projecto Darte
On the 29th March we had the Aprender e Agir AGM.
It is now available the first master thesis about Projecto
Darte, made within the Psychology Department of the
University of Lisbon.
We thank to the author, Marta Messias, for her contribution to the study and spreading of Projecto Darte.
This was also an opportunity to make na important
memory of the activity of Projecto Darte, that has
already reached more that 300 children.
