L’Unione Italiana was founded in 1894 and
served as a cultural center for Italian immigrants, assisting them with entry barriers common to many immigrants, such as work, medical, burial and various social needs. Today, the
Italian Club’s mission is to restore its historic
building, which remains at its original site in
Ybor City, while also preserving our rich Italian
culture and heritage in the Tampa community.
