2016 Richard Clayderman Piano Concert
23 August, 2016 (Xiamen, China) – Last month, Marco Polo Xiamen was named the official hotel of the
2016 Richard Clayderman Piano Concert. To celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the hotel, Marco Polo
Xiamen was named the official hotel of two other high-end international concerts in Xiamen: the 2016
Kenneth Gorelick saxophone concert and the 2016 Vitas concert.
To help spread the piano culture, an exciting “Little Richard Piano Concert” was held by Marco Polo
Xiamen on July 30th, 2016. Seven young pianists won the hearts of the hotel guests with their amazing
piano performances, held in the hotel’s Lobby Lounge. The hotel awarded each of the little pianists with
complimentary tickets to the 2016 Richard Clayderman Piano Concert as well as an autographed copy of
his CD.
Richard Clayderman is a famous French pianist who has recorded over 1,300 melodies and has sold over
150 million records. He is referred to as being "the most successful pianist in the world" by the Guinness
Book of World Records and is very popular in Asia.
