Michael McCann is a legal analyst and writer for Sports Illustrated and
SI.com. He is the founding Director of the Sports and Entertainment
Law Institute (SELI) at the University Of New Hampshire School Of
Law, where he is also a tenured professor of law. McCann has won the
Professor of the Year Award for outstanding teaching several times and
has written more than 20 law review articles, including placements in
the Yale Law Journal, Wisconsin Law Review and Boston College Law
Review.
Michael is the author of more than 400 legal columns and investigative
articles for Sports Illustrated and SI.com articles, covering such stories
as the Aaron Hernandez murder case, Boston Marathon bombings,
the legality of NFL teams asking college players about their sexual
orientation, steroids scandals, NBA, NFL and NHL lockouts, the Penn
State scandal and of course ”Deflategate” involving Tom Brady and the
New England Patriots.
Mr. McCann is one of the nation’s leading experts in sports law, a
seasoned sports attorney, and an award-winning teacher, scholar
and journalist. He is also the Editor and an author of the forthcoming
Oxford University Press Handbook of American Sports Law. The book
is expected to be published in 2017 and will be intended for law
students, graduate students, college students and attorneys interested
in the study of American sports law.

Mark Graham, NRCA’s Associate Executive Director, technical services,
will provide an overview of the roofing-related changes incorporated
into the International Building Code, International Residential Code,
the International Energy Conservation Code, the 2 International Green
Construction Code and International Fire Code. He will discuss the new
construction methods and technologies that are incorporated into the
codes along with compliance requirements specifically applicable to
roof assemblies.
Individual state and federal government agencies generally are free to
adopt their own codes meaning possible changes to the applicable codes
prevailing in your state, city or town. Keep your companies abreast of the
latest changes affecting the roofing industry.
