Recipient by accepting this document agrees that neither this document nor the
information disclosed herein nor any part thereof shall be reproduced or transferred to
other documents or used or disclosed to others for any other purpose except as
specifically authorized in writing by SANDEL AVIONICS, INC.
Orders
All prices shown are in US dollars. Please go to http://www.sandel.com/dealers/ to find an
authorized Sandel dealer near you.
Freight
F.O.B. Vista, CA. USA. All shipments will be ground freight unless otherwise specified.
All shipping charges, customs duties, taxes, and fees are the responsibility of the
dealer/customer.
Payments
Mail Checks to: Sandel Avionics, Inc., 2401 Dogwood Way, Vista, CA 92081.
Wire Transfer: contact Sandel for wire transfer instructions.
Credit Card: orders will incur a handling fee of 3% for Visa / MasterCard / Discover /
American Express.
Order Cancellations
Dealers shall make every attempt to cancel Purchase Orders on or before 5 days prior to
scheduled shipment. If the Dealer does not notify Sandel of a cancellation of all or part of
a Purchase Order within 48 hours of scheduled shipment of product, the Dealer shall bear
the cost of a restocking fee equal to 5% of the Dealer purchase price.
Returns
No product may be returned for credit without prior written permission from Sandel. In the
event that Sandel grants permission to return product, Dealer agrees to bear the cost of a
minimum 15% restocking fee plus shipping and handling charges. Sandel will not restock
any product that in its sole discretion is determined to be used, damaged or otherwise not
in saleable condition. In the event product is returned and accepted by Sandel for
restocking, a credit will be issued to the Dealer account equal to the original sale price less
the applicable restocking fee; credit to be held on account and used against future
purchases or for a period of at least ninety (90) days.
All purchases for software, display upgrades and database key codes, not part of an
equipment purchase, are non-refundable / non-exchangeable.
Repairs and Upgrade Options
To send your unit in for repair or upgrade, please go to our website at
www.sandel.com/rmaform and submit the form. You will be contacted with a Return
Materials Authorization number (RMA) and instructions for sending your unit to Sandel.
Standard turn-around time is 5 business days from receipt of the unit at Sandel. Customer
will be notified if there is any delay.
If the unit is sent in for repair, without receiving an RMA number in advance, there will be
an additional processing fee of $250 added to the repair charge and it will delay the repair
by as much as one week.

Database / Software Updates
Please ensure the serial number is correct as database updates, software updates and
display options use key codes that are serial number specific. A purchase order can be
sent to [email protected] and must include the part number, price, serial number of the
Sandel unit and an email address.
Warranty
The warranty for any individual Sandel product can be found by choosing the appropriate
model at http://www.sandel.com/product-support then “Other Documents”.
Sandel does not warranty the FreeFlight 1201 GPS/WAAS Sensor and Antenna. If sent to
Sandel for repair it will be immediately returned. For warranty coverage and repairs

installation at no charge.
2. Other support, including out of warranty products and reinstallations, will be billed
at a rate of $100/hour in 15 minute increments.

Loaner and Rental Policy
To assist in AOG situations Sandel provides loaners or rentals. Loaners are for units under warranty and
rentals are for anything else. If requested, Sandel will provide a loaner/rental based on availability.
Loaners
For the loaner to be “no charge” the process below must be followed (otherwise it is considered a rental):
1. Obtain an RMA for the in-warranty unit.
2. Issue a purchase order for the loaner part number you are requesting at the rental charges
listed on the next page that will apply if the loaner is not returned in accordance with the
loaner policy. Fax your purchase order to 760-727-4899 or email to [email protected]
and include your shipping instructions and shipping account number. Note on the
purchase order the serial number and model number of the in-warranty unit you are
returning along with the RMA number received. All shipping charges, customs duties,
taxes and fees are your responsibility.
3. The in-warranty unit must be shipped to Sandel within 7 days of the loaner shipping date.
4. When the in-warranty unit is returned to you, you are responsible to ship the loaner to
Sandel within 7 days.
5. If the above conditions are not met, the rental charges will apply.
Rentals
1. Obtain an RMA for the out of warranty unit.
2. Issue a purchase order for the rental part number you are requesting at the rental charges
listed on the next page. Fax your purchase order to 760-727-4899 or email to
[email protected] and include your shipping instructions and shipping account number.
Note on the purchase order the serial number and model number of the out of warranty
unit you are returning along with the RMA number received. All shipping charges,
customs duties, taxes and fees are your responsibility.
3. You will be charged one fee for the total time it takes Sandel to inspect and/or repair your
unit. After Sandel returns the unit to you, you have 7 days to ship the rental back. If the
rental is not shipped within this time period, multiple charges will apply.
4. Repairs will be billed at the normal repair rates. If the charges are above the normal repair
minimums, we will contact you with a written quote that must be returned within 5 days.
5. Sandel will return your unit as quickly as possible after the quote is returned.
