gas
Rönneholm, Sweden
Features
§  At Rönneholm landfill in south Sweden, a small
cascade installation of two C9G LowCal has been in
operation since 8th October 2012. The C9G’s have
been subjected to landfill gas suffering from declining
methane levels ranging between 18-42%, with an
average of 26%
§  1st year of operation has shown an availability of 95%
§  The power load is controlled by means of an external
PLC which is using the feeding pressure of the landfill
gas as load control parameter.
§  The installation is owned by the local waste treatment
company MERAB.

Åmål, Sweden
Features
§  The Åmål installation comprises two C9G operating
on landfill gas and sewage gas from the local waste
water treatment plant.
§  In operation since 2010 and has an accumulated
operational history of more than 25 000 hours.
§  Serves as long term testbed for Cleanergy
§  The installation is owned by Åmål community

Yggeset, Norway
Features
§  In operation since November 2013, located in Asker
kommune, Norway.
§  Constitutes the largest cascade installation of C9G
LowCal for Cleanergy to date.
§  The heat from the C9G’s is used for facility heating
and de-icing of paved roads during wintertime.
§  The power load of the C9G´s is controlled by means
of an external PLC using the feeding pressure as
control parameter.
§  The Yggeset installation is owned by Asker kommune
5-unit container placing, flare in the background.

Espira, France
Features
§  In operation since February 2014. The Espira
installation outside of Perpignan in southern France
comprises two C9G LowCal Stirling units.
§  Preparations have been made for another two units
inside the same container as the gas production may
be increased.
§  The installation is purchased engineered by GRS
Valtech, a Veolia owned company.
§  The power load of the C9G’s is controlled by means of
an external PLC using the feeding pressure as control
parameter.
Final container engineered and assembled by GRS Valtech.

Docking 2, United Kingdom
Features
§  In operation since January 2014. The Docking 2
installation is located in Norfolk and comprises two
C9G units. installation is engineered by Landfill
Systems Ltd
§  The installation will serve as demo and evaluation site
by the ACUMEN program (Assessing, Capturing,
Utilizing Methane from Expired and Non-operational
landfills).
§  ACUMEN is being administrated by the UK
government body Environment Agency
§  The C9G LowCal is the first power technology that
has been selected for evaluation by the ACUMEN.
