The Scholastic Art Awards of New Hampshire
The Scholastic Art Awards of New
Hampshire recognizes the importance
of fostering creative expression and artistic achievement in our schools.
Students from all over the United States submit work in sixteen visual art categories, with the regional
recipients forwarded to New York in
mid-February, for national adjudication. The National Awards ceremony
and exhibition will take place in June

Carnegie Hall.
The annual statewide event highlights the award-winning student
work. This spectacular display showcases Gold, Silver and Honorable
Mention works.
The adjudication panels include college visual art professors, museum
educators, retired middle and high
school art educators and practicing

Last week the artwork done by Amherst Middle School artists was published in the newspaper. This week the
artists from Souhegan High School are
being featured. Congratulations to all
the students who participated!
