FINAL THOUGHTS ...
I’m looking forward to the future
with a feeling of optimism. The
bright start to business in 2015 has
put a spring in my step along with a
number of other factors which have
also given me a sense of pride.
The inaugural celebrations for
P&O’s Britannia focussed on all
things British and our great, diverse
culture, building upon the renewed
pride shown so clearly during the
Olympics and Commonwealth
Games.
The Grand Depart featured Yorkshire in all its glory and I defy any
Yorkshire man or woman to say they
did not feel proud of their home
county as the cycles raced through
some of the most beautiful scenery
in these isles. The legacy of this
brings the Tour de Yorkshire in May
when the world will once again admire our green and pleasant land.
The beauty of Bradford’s green areas has been constant and upon visiting the city centre recently I felt optimistic about our city centre too.
The Westfield Shopping Centre is

a long forgotten area
and with the consideration being given to landscaping of
the pathways leading to it, there is
promise of an impressive shopping
district.
The name of Bradford has been on
many people’s lips recently. Didn’t
our Bradford City do us proud, giving us and the nation once again
some of the most memorable moments of the 2015 F.A. cup season?
Some say pride is a sin and in some
senses it might be. But it is also what
adds to our values, sets our standards, makes us want to be the best
we can be and to want the best for
our families. I look at my three
young grandsons, for whom I feel
tremendous pride, and I have high
hopes for their futures.
So going forward I am proud to be
British, proud to be a Bradfordian
and proud of having a travel agency
which strives to give the highest
level of service to all clients. The
