volunteer, give my office a call and we will help you find a project that will not only help
you reach your goal but also help improve the quality of life for our residents. Whether it is
volunteering to clean up our Compton Creek, parks, or the City’s major thoroughfares, we
can make sure your experience is both enjoyable and rewarding. Give my office a call and
we will help point you in the right direction. For more information, please contact

Autism Adventurers Swim Club Swimming provides an invaluable therapy and social outlet for children with
autism. Swimming can help an autistic child improve their speech, coordination, social skills, self-esteem,
and cognitive processing. Safety is the initial skill we teach in this class. Making sure children are safe in
and around the water is our primary concern. They learn to float on their back and yell for help. From there,
children are taught the skills of swimming, starting with proper breathing techniques. Please join me as we
launch our third season of the Autism Adventurers Swim Club.
