Introduction
Superior Jetties is an Australian owned Gold Coast based company that has over
twenty years of industry experience. With three core areas of business, Superior
Jetties can provide the full “turn key” package your organisation requires.
Superior Jetties
Superior Jetties manufactures a large range of marine berthing, boat lift systems and
quality pontoons. The company has a significant presence in both local domestic and
commercial markets, as well as a growing international clientele. The organisation
has a long history of producing high quality products using the latest technology in
design and materials. Innovation, inventiveness and astute interpretation of market
needs have earned respect within the industry.
In addition to standard products, Superior Jetties has the in house ability and expertise
to custom design and manufacture products to suit individual and situation specific
requirements, thereby guaranteeing satisfaction to individuals, local and state
governments, federal agencies, resorts and organisations with industrial flotation
requirements.
Superior Marinas
Superior Marinas is the commercial division of Superior Jetties and can provide
the full “turn key” package to include design, engineering, manufacture, project
management and installation of any marina project. From small berth boutique
marinas to International marinas incorporating Super Yacht facilities, Superior Marinas
can provide everything needed to implement a world class facility.
Superior Plastech
Superior Plastech is also based on the Gold Coast and is a company that provides
plastic solutions for a variety of industries. In addition to manufacturing the UMD system
for Superior Jetties, Plastech manufactures a wide range of plastic and rotomoulded
products such as boat waste tanks, dock boxes, battery boxes, environmental
system components and industrial vacuum components. A CNC Routing machine
complements this facility.

Products and Services
Superior Marinas
Superior Marinas offers a range of berthing solutions designed and built to be functional,
durable, low maintenance and aesthetically pleasing. The range includes:
A Elite Concrete System
B Capri Composite System
C Ultimate Modular Dock System
A Elite Concrete System
A concrete pontoon system constructed using solid monolithic flotation. This is
protected by a heavy duty sealed polyethylene skin that is U.V. stabilised, tough,
flexible, and able to withstand heavy impact and allows it to expand and contract
independently from the flotation and the reinforced concrete deck.
The specially formulated concrete pontoon deck has an average concrete thickness
of 125mm. It is smartly finished with a customised aluminium waler incorporating
a unique press in bump rubber fender, which eliminates the need for screws. The
concrete itself has a “Broom Deck” finish and all concrete surfaces are sealed with an
epoxy based (or similar) concrete sealant which impregnates into the concrete deck.

Utility services such as power, water, telephone and fire services can easily be
incorporated via purpose built conduit ducts running inside the pontoon. The finished
product is attractive, durable, element resistant and functional.

B Capri Composite System
The Capri is a medium duty marina system which incorporates similar custom extruded
waler design as in the Elite system. The flotation uses polyethylene floats which bolt
to the aluminium superstructure. Hardwood timber decking or composite decking
completes the system. Superior Jetties was awarded the contract to supply and install
the Capri Marina System at A Pier, Sanctuary Cove. This project was constructed
and operational in time for the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show.

C Ultimate Modular Dock System
The Ultimate Modular Dock system is an option that is applicable to situations where
a smart appearance, flexibility and an easily demountable and moveable option is
appropriate.
This product is manufactured by the rotational moulding of polyethylene and allows
the production of modular pieces that are tough, flexible, U.V. stabilised and do not
deteriorate in a marine environment. The modules can withstand heavy conditions
and tough treatment, making them ideal for public use applications. Accessories such
as hand rails and child safety ladders can be added.
A specially profiled surface ensures slip resistance and the ease with which modules
can be connected make this style of pontoon particularly useful for swimming platforms,
floating walkways, aquaculture, marinas, helipads, floating work platforms, settlement
ponds, sewage treatment works and ramps for boat launching and retrieval.
