EXPLORE
Hello and thanks for opening up our latest programme of events!
Our front and back cover is graced by a custom hand painted image using acrylic
airbrush paint of the Buzzcocks in action thanks to local artist Neil Williams – www.
neilmartinwilliams.co.uk – a fitting piece of work for autumn’s headline gig. The original
artwork is for sale and will be on show on the night of the show. On the subject of
pioneering punk legends, we also have An Evening with Glen Matlock who is accredited as
forever changing rock ‘n’ roll history as chief songwriter with the Sex Pistols.
‘Miracle are a
real joy’
Western Morning News
The Falmouth Beer Festival is back in October and continues to grow with over 240 real ales
and 60 ciders on offer, so we’re not expecting a dry autumn this year. Although, if you like
your stand up comedians dry, then do come and see Marcus Brigstocke’s new show or the
sparkling Seann Walsh. The Electric Swing Circus are also coming back again (yay!) with
Hong Kong Ping Pong after selling out the venue last year, plus we have some excellent gigs
lined up with Reef, Turin Brakes, We are Scientists and Dreadzone all on the menu.
Last but certainly not least – Christmas is coming! And so this year we’re joining forces
with Cornwall’s award winning Miracle Theatre. Having astonished audiences with The
Revenge of Rumpelstiltskin, Aladdin and Dr Livingstone, I Presume!, Miracle’s motley crew
of entertainers will be dusting off their periwigs, patching up their painted backdrops and
practicing their naughtiest songs, ready to reinterpret that most beloved of fairy tales,
Cinderella for the last two weeks of December. Do check out the centre pages for more
information on Cinderella and also some special offers being the season of goodwill and all.
