ASX listed LWP Technologies have secured a 19.9% cornerstone
investor and possibly $6m in equity to progress their oil and gas
"proppant" technology start up.

UK small to mid cap specialist investment fund Lanstead Capital LP has agreed

to plough around $6m into LWP over the next 18 months and will take up a
cornerstone investment position in the company with 19.9% of the stock.
Lanstead will be issued with 1.2b LWP shares when the stock has been fully
issued after 18 months.
Lanstead Capital originated in the UK and its co-founder Greg Kofford was
reported recently as saying that he thought the commodities market may have
hit the bottom and that now was a good time to buy.
Kofford was so taken with Australian securities that he set up an office in
Sydney two years ago that is manned by Australian equities corporate advisor
Andrew Sparke.
Since then Lanstead has plunged $50m on a swag of ASX listed stocks and
they still have another $300m looking for a home in Australia.

They have a keen interest in tech, biotech and resources companies and
generally look to invest between $3m and $30m in a deal.

Their funding model is not straight forward and is quite innovative in so much
as they provide the funds on a monthly basis over 18 months based on a
formula that is sensitive to the company’s share price.

Lanstead will pay LWP $900k up front at .005c a share and from there they will
be issued with 56.7m shares every month for 18 months and it is only the
price that will vary depending on how the company’s share price is tracking

against a pre-determined arbitrary share price of .0067c a share.
If LWP’s 5 day VWAP is .0067c a share at the time of a monthly payment, then
Lanstead will pay $283,333 for each 56.7m monthly parcel of shares.
If LWP’s shareprice remains steady at .0067c a share each month for 18

months then Lanstead will invest a total of $6m in the company.
However, if the company’s share price is above or below the arbitrary figure of
.0067c a share during any monthly payment then Lanstead will pay either

more or less for their 56.7m parcel depending on the percentage above or
below .0067c a share the company is trading at.
The number of shares issued will not change.
Lanstead’s theory is that they want to incentivise companies to get their share
price up as they will pay more for their shares if the price is tracking well at the
time they are issued.
LWP have two unique pieces of technology that have attracted the interest of
Lanstead.
They have worked out how to make oil and gas “proppants” from the mostly
unwanted bi-product from coal fired power stations known as fly-ash.
"Proppants" are a sand like product that wedge into the miniature cracks that
are created down hole during an oil and gas fracking operation.

It is these cracks that allow the oil and gas to flow to the surface.
More recently LWP entered into a joint venture with the inventor of a unique
battery known as an aluminium graphene oxygen battery.
