Product Information Sheets
Cottage Paint- 8oz jar
Available in many pre-tinted colors -see chart.
Used for painting furniture and cabinetry. Water based Clay paint that is
easily distressed with a damp cloth. No sanding or priming required on a
good surface that is sealed and free from dirt and wax. Paint may crack if
applied over wax. Apply with a good quality poly-nylon brush.
Coverage 20-30 sq ft or a small dresser or chair.
May appear thick upon opening mixing will reduce the thickness.
This product should be clear coated for durability.

Used for painting furniture. Water based Clay paint that is easily

Beeswax Hard
Used as an interior natural clear sealer.
Protects against casual use. Will polish to a glossy finish.
Apply with a wax brush.
Allow time to dry then polish with a soft cloth to a even shine.
8 oz jar will cover 30-50 sq ft.
Allow a final 24 hour drying time before use.
Cannot be painted over.
Beeswax Soft
Used as an interior natural clear sealer.
Protects against casual use. Requires continual maintenance.
Apply with a soft cloth or a wax brush.
Allow time to dry then polish with a soft cloth to a even shine.

Acrylic Wax Flat
Used as an interior flat clear sealer.
This will seal the surface and develop a protective finish. Protects
against casual use. Apply with a damp sponge

Varnish Flat
Used as an interior water based acrylic flat clear sealer.
Protects against casual use. Apply with a poly-nylon brush.
Good for maintaining aged appearance.

Varnish Satin
Used as an interior water based acrylic satin clear sealer.
Protects against heavy use. Apply with a brush.
Develops a hard durable protective coating for table tops
and cabinetry.

Easy Crackle
Produces a cracked aged finish.
Apply a coat of crackle over Cottage Paint with a brush. Allow to dry.
A slightly thicker application of crackle will produce -larger cracks
A slightly thinner application of crackle will produce -smaller cracks
A slightly thicker application of paint will produce -larger cracks
A slightly thinner application of paint will produce -smaller cracks
Apply Cottage Paint briskly over the crackle and watch it crack as it
dries. Do not over work the paint. Once it starts to crack do not brush
it any more.
Texture Paste-Classes Recommended
Used to create many different textures.
Available in black and white
Can create textured stencils. wood grain and other imprinted
patterns.
Stencil Peel- Classes Recommended
Produces a reverse stencil
Place stencil on previously varnished surface.
Trowel Stencil Peel over stencil approximately 2x thicker than the
stencil-Remove stencil
Allow to dry until clear(1-2 hours depending on temperature and
humidity)
Once dry paint over stencil with desired distressed finish using
cottage paint. Allow to dry. (approx 45-60 minutes) then peel away
stencil pieces using a small sharp knife to help lift the rubbery surface
away and expose the original wood grain.
Apply clear sealer over entire surface.
Antique Glaze
Used to age the surface and accent ornate detailing on furniture.
Available in various colors.
Generously apply with a brush or damp sponge. Then remove with
a clean damp sponge to achieve the desired effect.
This product will offer a protective coating.
Easy Glaze
Can be used as an open time extender. When added to Cottage Paint
it will slow the dry time and allow more working time but may reduce
the ability to distress the finish. It can also be used to create a glazing
medium by adding a small amount of paint at a ratio of 4:1 to create a
custom colored glaze.
This product needs to be clear coated for additional protection.
Metallic Wax
Used as a decorated coating to create a metallic appearance.
Apply multiple coats with a brush or damp sponge.
Dries very fast.
Does not need to be clear coated.
Coating this product with a flat sealer may dull the metallic appearance.
If a clear coat is necessary use a satin finish.
Adhesive Classes recommended.
Used to adhere fabrics and paper to furniture surfaces that have been
painted with Cottage Paint. Cut medium slightly larger than the area it is
being applied to. Apply the adhesive with a brush or spatula on to the
surface and on to the back of the medium to be applied. Lay the medium
on to the surface and smooth with the palm of you hand. Allow it to dry
then trim the unwanted edge with a sharp blade.
Available in 8 oz , and quart containers.
Clean and Prep
Used to remove grease, oils and waxy films from the surface prior to painting. Simply spray the surface and let it sit for 1 minute then rub with a
clean cloth. It will not damage a previously varnish, lacquer or painted
surface. If the surface has wax and exposes bare wood once the wax is
removed, seal the surface with CP clear furniture sealer prior to painting.
This will help to prevent tannin bleeding and cracks from forming on the
surface after painting. Available in 16 oz, quarts and gallons.
Clear Furniture Primer
First clean with Clean and Prep. If the surface has a waxy film or oily
residue and has been cleaned to a bare wood surface this primer will :
- seal bare wood
- prevent cracks from forming once painted if wax or oils are still present
in the wood grain .
- bridges cracks in the painted surface and will prevent them from
reoccurring.
- helps block stains and wood tannins from discoloring the painted
surface. Wood knots should be covered with White Pigmented Shellac.
Choose darker paint colors if you feel the wood tannins might cause any
issues.

Transfer Oil- Classes recommended
Used to transfer black and white image printed from a black and white
laser printer. Will not work on a image printed from a colored laser
printer.
Coat back side of image with Transfer Oil. Tape the image to surface and
rub with the back of a spoon. Remove image and let dry.
Available in 8 oz
Transfer Gel- Classes recommended.
Can be used to transfer colored laser images on to various surfaces such
as a painted surface or fabric.
Cut the image out as close to the edge as possible and on a scrap piece of
paper lie the image ink side up. Using a brush, liberally apply the Gel on
the ink side of the image. Lift the image from the paper and place it face
down on to the surface you wish to transfer to. Smooth image with your
finger tips and allow to thoroughly dry. Once dry, wet with water and rub
the paper until it balls and crumbles away leaving the image that is
embedded in the gel.
Diamond Dust
This adds a soft delicate sparkle to a variety of different surfaces. The
tiny silver sparkle is suspended in a water based clear satin medium.
Can be brushed or rolled on to a previously painted surface, including
furniture, cabinets and walls. Available in 8 oz, quarts and gallons.
Glitz’n Glitter- Jewelry for your furniture
This adds a elegant effect to any surface. Can be applied many different ways including through stencils. The tiny glass beads will adhere
to glass for a elegant addition to any window or cabinet glass door.
Apply with a small spatula and should be allowed it to dry overnight.

Add some “Sass” to your project. Can be applied many different ways
including through stencils or taping off shapes. The large silver glitter
will add a definite WOW to any piece of furniture or wall . Easy to apply
with a small spatula and should be allowed it to dry overnight.

White Liming Wax- includes a wax puffing pad
Adds a soften appearance and feel to any painted surface. Can also
be used to fill in and highlight wood grain.
Apply with a wax brush or damp sponge.
This is a environmentally friendly product that is made from beeswax
and may not be painted over. Use as a finishing coat.

Used to highlight ornate detailing on your furniture piece with Gold
