It’s amazing how much has changed since last June. I feel that moves and closures are most important so I have highlighted
those. For moves, if I don’t mention any other changes (i.e. city, phone or zip) you can assume they stayed the same. I would
suggest making these changes right in your book. It seems in these trying economic times that some shops are having their
best years ever, while others have closed. And we’re still seeing lots of new shops opening. Please note that we do not list

New Features in the 13th edition
This will be our first book with color throughout. Seems only appropriate for quilters to enjoy all the wonderful
colors of the shops. We will be listing shop hops on our website only.
Quilt Show Organizers
New for shows in the 13th edition -- you can have an ad for your show(s) in the book!! We will still list all of the
shows that we know about as a community service, but you can highlight your show with an ad in the book this time.
Just email [email protected] if you would like more information about an ad for your show.
Quilt Shows Changes
Please note that the shows do change quite a bit and we try to keep up with the changes via our website. Please check
our website to verify any show’s information you may be interested in before going to any expense to attend that show.
If a show does not appear on the website that is listed in the book, that would indicate that the show no longer happens.
Also we suggest verifying the show with a local source (ie a quilt shop in the area).
Also we would appreciate your feedback about including the shows in the 13th edition in the fashion that we used.
Is the way we listed each show’s information easy to read and use and of value to you?
Of course, please let us know about any show in your area that isn’t listed. And as long as I’m at it, we
always appreciate knowing about any new shops in your area or any that may have closed or moved. It takes a concerted
effort to keep all this information as accurate as possible and your help is greatly appreciated.
Quilt Guilds:
As you’ve probably noticed guilds are not listed in the book any longer. They are listed by state on our website.
Please note that we rely on the guilds to keep the information up-to-date. Very often a guild address will change with a
new president of the guild. Unless the guild supplies this address, we don’t have any easy way to keep up with these
changes. We do send out an email to guilds periodically asking for updates to their information. Some guilds respond, but
a lot do not. So please take the guild information with a grain of salt. We do not have the manpower to verify these addresses. Please use them as you see fit, but please understand how accurate they may or may not be. Checking with a
shop in the area would be a good idea, or if the guild has a website, please check out the information listed there also.
Stories and Ideas:
WE’D LOVE TO SHARE STORIES FROM TRAVELERS OUT THERE USING THE QTC.
I think everyone enjoys the stories and they may spark another quilter to make a trip similar to the one described
in the story. And the more quilters are out there traveling, THE BETTER.
