The DuPage County Historical Museum Presents: Girl Scouts Our Promise: Then, Now and Forever Tell Us Your Girl Scout Stories Are you a current Girl Scout or Alumni who would like to share your special memories as the organization celebrates the 100th Anniversary of Girl Scouting? Please complete the following questionnaire. All responses will be collected and displayed in the DuPage County Historical Museum as part of the special exhibit Girl Scouts Our Promise: Then, Now and Forever on view through April 30, 2012. Please include a photo of you as a scout and/or a current photo. Original photos should not be sent because photos will not be returned. Girl Scouts Our Promise: Then, Now and Forever Exhibit In partnership with the Girl Scouts of the USA, the DuPage County Historical Museum is excited to present this exhibit in celebration of the organization’s 100th Anniversary. Founded in 1912 by Juliette Gordon Low, the Girl Scouts of the USA has and continues to inspire millions of young girls. This exhibit will trace the highlights of the past 100 years using uniforms, photos and artifacts from the Girl Scouts collection. Come see this important part of history and share your own memories of this wonderful organization. Join us for the opening reception on Saturday, November 5 from 12-4pm. View the exhibit, enjoy refreshments and help us celebrate this important milestone for the Girl Scouts of the USA. The exhibit will be on view until April 30, 2012. Learn how Juliette came to devote her life to the Girl Scouts of the USA. Stay after the performance to view the exhibit Girl Scouts Our Promise: Then, Now and Forever and celebrate the 100th anniversary of this wonderful organization.
