Keeping Your Information Secure
Website security is a primary concern for clients when
conducting business online. Janney Online Access
helps to address this with our 128-bit Secure Socket
Layer (SSL) technology that protects information as
it crosses the Internet. SSL means that our site offers
secure communication via state-of-the-art encryption,
protecting confidential information such as brokerage
account numbers, credit card numbers, online forms
and financial data from interception and intrusive third
parties. When you log in, your browser uses a secret key
that only Online Access recognizes, allowing you to view
your information securely.
e-Delivery—the End of the Paper Trail
Janney offers e-delivery of your statements (including
proxies) and confirmations that make it easier than
ever to track and monitor your account and investment
strategy. While you can always choose to receive these
documents via normal mail, e-delivery is a faster, more
efficient means of doing so—simply log in to Janney
Online Access to retrieve, save and print all of your vital
documents, including 1099 forms. Janney also offers
you the convenience of viewing materials online that are
made available by issuing corporations, mutual funds
and other third parties. If you choose this service, you
will be notified by e-mail when these communications
become available on the Internet.
