WhAt is A ReAltoR®?
The term Realtor® is a membership mark of the National
Association of Realtors®. Membership includes residential
practitioners as well as those in appraisal, commercial sales,
land sales, development and auction and property
management.
As independent contractors, Realtors® rely on information
that helps them make more money, grow their business and
operate within legal and ethical guidelines. As entrepreneurs,
they are responsible for the majority of purchasing decisions
for products essential to running their businesses. And a
Realtors’® position at the center of the real estate transaction
and as community ambassadors puts them in a unique
