Being the banking and financial hub in Asia, Hong Kong has within its territory headquarters of a big number of MNCs and high earning expats. They are frequent
flyers on target, not to mention the international travellers flying into the city on
business. The frequent patronage of the flyers makes the international airport a concentrated marketplace more powerful than the rest of the city.
Travellers are more likely to spend money during the wait for flights than after they
reach their destinations. This is why bookstores stocking Spirito diVino Asia all located within the departure area of terminal 1, major terminal of the airport.
