The City of Tolleson and the Tolleson Elementary School District are working together putting into practice the Kids at Hope philosophy, which inspires and empowers families and organizations serving youth and entire communities to create an environment where all children experiences success, NO EXCEPTIONS! The goal is to continue to create a culture in the Tolleson community that fosters the success of all children, no exceptions. At the leadership conference teens learned about the importance of identifying those adults in their lives that believe and have a positive connection with them. The teens established meaningful and sustainable relationships with adults such as John Paul Lopez, Randy Babchuck, Inez Babchuck, Frances Garcia, Anthony Piña and Monica Tarazon. They participated in many activities that helped them identify adults that are making a difference in their lives. They also focused on their future plans at each one of their destination points of home & family, education & career, community & service, and leisure & recreation. Throughout the year, both the school district and city will continue to provide the children and teens with opportunities that support the Kids at Hope philosophy. How can you make a difference? How can you become one of those adults making connections with children and teens of our community?
