3 balls (2.5oz) of white yarn
1 ball (2.5oz) each of the following- pink, red, orange, yellow, green, blue & purple
To MakeThe pattern is a basic closed ripple pattern with repeats every 10 sts.
In white, chain 60 + 1
R1
turn, chain 3, 1 dc in 4th chain from the hook, [dc in next 3 chains, dc3tog, dc in
next 3 chains, 3 dc in next chain] 6 times ending with 2 dc in last chain.
R2
turn, chain 3, 1 dc in first st, [dc in next 3 sts, dc3tog, dc in next 3 sts, 3 dc in next
st] 6 times ending with 2 dc in last turning chain.
R3-45 Repeat row 2, changing colors ever 3 rows- white, pink, white, red, white, orange,
white, yellow, white, green, white, blue, white, purple, ending with 3 rows of
white. Fasten off & weave in all the remaining pieces of yarn. Use the white
yarn and reattach it to single crochet a border around the entire blanket.
