Kristina is a performance that combines movement,
human voice and a social experience. It invites
listeners to medieval Naantali where they get to
witness a major life change of a young woman.
The performance will take place both inside the
old Naantali church as well as in the churchyard. It consists of interfaces between traditional
archaic church music, modern dance, an outside
event and literature.

One of the most noteworthy meetings in Finnish jazz
in a long time is about to take place. Internationally
recognised jazz artists, saxophonist Jukka Perko
and pianist Iiro Rantala, join forces in a new duo.
Their new music celebrates the unique expressions of both established artists. The concert will
include new adaptations of songs with a common theme: love in all its forms. It will be a tribute to Finnish music and the uniting force of jazz.

TICKETS IN NAANTALI
With an ’S’ Bonus card, a 10% discount is offered
on all tickets purchased in advance. Max. 2 tickets / concert. Does not apply to dinner concerts
and concert packages.
Tickets go on sale at Lippupiste outlets on 5 February.
You can also book tickets by calling the Lippu piste
service number 0600-900-900 (€ 1,98/min + local
trunk charge). Pre-booked tickets can be collected
from Lippupiste and R-kioski outlets. For further
information see ticket agency Lippupiste website lippu.

In Naantali you can buy tickets at the Naantali Tourist
Service, Kaivotori 2, tel. +358 (0)2 435 9800
and [email protected]. Tickets can also
be purchased at the door half an hour before the
beginning of the concert. In the Naantali Church
the ticket prices vary according to the categories.
Please see the picture. In the other churches and
concert venues, all tickets cost the same. Ticket
sales for Dinner Concerts at Naantali Kaivohuone
(No. 3 and 18, p. 2 and 8) are available only from
Naantali Tourist Information. If you wish to receive
the tickets by cash on delivery, order them by 4 May
from Naantali Tourist Service (postal charges: € 15).

BUY AN ARCHIPELAGO SEA TICKET!
ORGAN
By paying € 3 extra compared with the normal price
you can participate in local nature conservation work
through the Protection Fund for the Archipelago Sea.
Students and persons under 18 years of age are
eligible for a 50% discount on all normally priced
tickets (does not apply to dinner concerts, concert
packages or children’s concerts). For groups of
10 or more, we offer a 10% discount on ticket
prices. Tickets cannot be changed or redeemed.
With a TOP card, a 10% discount is granted on
tickets purchased in advance. Max. 2 tickets /
concert. Does not apply to dinner concerts and
concert packages.
VESPER MUSIC EVERY EVENING
At 8 o’clock every summer evening for decades
now, Naantali has calmed down to listen to the
vesper music played by a trumpet player in the
belfry. This music reminds us of the prayers of the
convent and is played to three cardinal points:
first to the president, then to the Old Town and
finally to the sea.
