A note of thanks… - Bristol Motor Speedway
A note of thanks…
Dear Bristol Motor Speedway Suiteholder:
As we look toward the 2007 August race week at Bristol Motor Speedway, we want you to be prepared for the totally new
and different racing surface at NASCAR's favorite facility. The first time you see the track in August, you will immediately
notice that it is a different color, that it features a different design and once the cars and trucks have a chance to check it
out, they are going to discover that it is wicked fast - in other words, "The World's Fastest Half Mile" is going to get even
faster if our engineers are correct.
We understand that there are opportunities to entertain your friends, clients and guests at other venues and we sincerely
appreciate you choosing Bristol. This year's Sharpie 500 is a sell out, giving us a NASCAR Cup record of 51 straight sell
outs. We are very thankful for our loyal fans and corporate partners.
Now that we have completed the track rebuilding project, our Chairman Bruton Smith has plans to raze all the buildings in
the infield and build a state of the art compound that will feature a new Wellmont hospital, a new media center, meeting
rooms and improved concession and restroom facilities. The current plans even include a limited amount of unique
hospitality areas for you to entertain your guests while the races are taking place. The timing on this project is still under
discussion but we will keep you up to date when all the decisions are made.
If we can ever be of assistance or if you have suggestions as to how our team can improve their service to you and your
guests, just give one of us a call or email. We are looking forward to a great race week in August.
Sincerely,
Jeff Byrd
