About the LRS
California Advocates for Nursing Home Reform (CANHR) is a non-profit organization
dedicated to improving the lives of California's long term care consumers through direct
advocacy, community education, public policy and litigation. CANHR's Lawyer Referral
Service, certified by the State Bar of California since 1985, is the only statewide Lawyer
Referral Service specifically focused on serving California's long-term care consumers
and their families. Become a member of CANHR's LRS today! We are dedicated to
serving elders and persons with disabilities in need, and we are interested in recruiting
attorneys who share this goal.
CANHR LRS Panel Membership entitles you to technical assistance and support from
CANHR's highly qualified staff and other panel attorneys. It also places you in one of the
most knowledgeable groups of Elder Law attorneys in California.
The CANHR Listserve
Membership in a CANHR LRS panel entitles you to automatic enrollment in CANHR's
Estate Planning or Elder Abuse email listserv, which will enable you to post questions
and receive feedback on complex cases and exchange information, documents, ideas
and experiences with other panel member attorneys who advocate for long term care
consumers. If you are not on the LRS listserve, you’re truly missing out!
