Biotube Effluent Filters
How It Works
Effluent from the relatively clear
zone of the septic tank, between
the scum and the sludge layers,
enters the Boitube® Effluent Filter
through its inlet holes.Effluent then
enters the space between the
housing and Boitubes, utilizing the
entire screen surface for filtering.
Particles larger than 1/8” are
detained in the interior space,
where continued decomposition of
organic material occurs.
Once the effluent has been
filtered through the biotubes, it
flows through the modulating
orifices at the outlet of the filter.
If inflow becomes temporarily
excessive, the fluid level in the
tank will rise as the modulating
orifices slow the flow through the
tank, allowing maximum settling of
solids.

OSI Pump Basins
Orenco’s Pump Basins are used as secondary pump chambers and lift stations in septic
systems. Constructed of PVC pipe with fiberglass base and lid. A 4” inlet elbow and holes to
accommodate splice boxes and discharge piping are located and sized for each application.
Available in 18”, 24” and 30” diameters in standard 6” length increments. Custom lengths available in
1” increments.

The company has offices, warehouses , and
manufacturing facilities worldwide, conducting business in

middle East and Asia Pacific.
The company operates in two distinct market sectors:
Industrial and Water technologies. In the United States,
industrial and water technologies products are
manufactured in several locations and sold worldwide.
Double suction, multi stage, slurry and process pumps,
turbine, line shaft, submersible, jet, sump and sewage
products, and centrifugal products are produced in facilities
in New York, Pennsylvania, California, and Texas. An
advance R&D facility supports these product offerings.
Foundries operate in three US locations. A network of PRO
(pump, repair & Overhaul) service centers can repair and
rebuild any brand of pump. Goulds Pumps Europe is
Headquartered in London, England and has sales,

the Middle East. Stainless steel products are produced
at high tech production and R&D facilities at Lowara

Simplex Control Panels, “S” Series
Simplex Control Panels can be used for pressure sewer (STEP) systems, onsite treatment systems,
and pump control into conventional gravity or pressurized drainfields. “S” series pump control
panels are the best choice for a simplex pump and alarm system. These panels include a motor
contractor, which increases system life by reducing the load requirements on the float switches.
“S” series panels also allow options such as a programmable timer or use of larger horsepower
pumps.
MVP Simplex Control Panels, “MVP-S” Series
MVP Simplex Control Panels are especialy suited for timed dosing in single pump systems. All
MVP’s include an easy-to-use, programmable logic unit that incorporates many timing and logic
functions, such as multiple timing intervals to adjust for changing flow conditions. “MVP-S” panels
offer several functions as standard, including the sbility to use one float switch type for all functions,
elapsed time meters, and digital indication of float switch status.
Sand Filter Control Panels, “SSF” Series
Sand Filter Control Panels can be used to control two pumps in a sand filter treatment system.
“SSF” control panels use motor contractors to activate the pumps, (instead of float switches, as in
ASF panels). This allows more flexibility in drawdowns and allows for more options. Interlocked
controls prevent the septic tank pump from running if a high level condition occures in the sand
filter. “SSF” series panels also allow for options such as a programmable timer for use of larger
horsepower pumps.
Duplex Control Panels, “DAX” Series
Duplex Control Panels can be used in pressure sewer and onsite treatment systems that require
the use of two alternating pumps. The pair of pumps can be wired for both “lead” and “lag”
operation; a built-in alternating relay switches the “lead” and “lag” positions each pump cycle.

Tank Access Risers
Lids
Orenco’s fiberglass lids provide a secure covering for access risers, supporting a 2,500 lb.
wheel load. Lids are molded with an attractive green finish and a textured non-skid top
surface. Note: Lids are not rated for vehicular traffic.

Risers provide access to septic tank openings and can be cast into the tops of concrete
tanks, bonded in place, or bolted down using a Riser Tank Adapter.

Adapters
Orenco’s Tank Adapters are used to provide a structural, watertight method of installing an
access riser over a tank opening. Adapters can either be cast into the top of a concrete tank,
bonded to the top of a fiberglass tank, or fastened with a bolt-down kit.

a recirculating packed bed filter –
a proven technology. But the
AdvanTexTM Treatment System
used a highly efficient, nonwoven textile material, instead of
sand or gravel, for the treatment
media.
AdvanTexTM textile treatment
systems produce effluent that

standards. And because textile
can handle much higher loading
