YES The Young Entrepreneurs’ Society – Malayan Colleges Laguna (YES-MCL) is a collegiate student organization which serves both as the student body and representation of the program of Entrepreneurship of Malayan Colleges Laguna. YES-MCL aims to promote the entrepreneurial spirit among business students and other individuals, unrestricted to the specific fields of study of Malayan Colleges Laguna, as the economic heroes of today’s trend. The organization seeks to empower these individuals, by encouraging and promoting entrepreneurship, and by honing their entrepreneurial skills and competencies, through the offering of a comprehensive network of students and affiliates which can contribute to the cause of the organization. The organization also aims to establish and support members through events, programs, seminars, workshops, and mentorship. JPIA JPIA-MCL is a member of the National Federation of Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (NFJPIA), the national organization of Accountancy students, the only legitimate counterpart of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA). Our aim is to create a fellowship and solidarity of Accountancy students with moral integrity, academic excellence and socio-civic cultural consciousness. SHAPE A performing arts organization from Malayan Colleges Laguna (MCL) that caters singing, dancing, acting, public speaking, and theater arts. PIIE This is the official group of Philippine Institute of Industrial Engineers - Malayan Colleges Laguna. This group is open to all B.S. Industrial Engineering students in MCL H.O.T.E.L.S. Hospitality and Tourism Enthusiasts Leaders Society or also known as HO.T.E.L.S is an active organization who envisions strengthening the bond and developing the skills and talents of the Hotel and Restaurant Management and Tourism Management students in Malayan Colleges Laguna. It is also a pro eco-tourism organization by being an affiliate of Haribon Foundation Inc.; a nature conservation organization in the Philippines. MHFA IIEE We are all about fashion, arts, creativity, and openmindedness. We also have a variety of roles such as makeup artists, visual creatives (photography, videography, editing), Artists, and Models. We also promote advocacies like the LGBTQ community, and eradicating hate. Short name of the org is either MHFA or The HAUS. The Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers of Malayan Colleges Laguna Student Chapter (IIEE-MCLSC) is a student organization that aims to further enlighten its members about the fundamentals and principles of Electrical Engineering by providing various seminars and activities. Its aim is to promote well-pledged future Electrical Engineers with the values of excellence and virtue. The organization also aims to jolt the members to promote unity and camaraderie. ACES The Association of Chemical Engineering Students is an exclusive academic organization that aims to guide its members to achieve their goals of becoming full-pledged chemical engineers of the society through excellence and integrity. The organization acknowledges the academic growth and professional career development of its members by providing programs and events. UAPSA An organization known to cater Architecture students, organize seminars, events and activities to empower, motivate and install discipline among Architecture students and to propagate the goals and aspirations of all architects. IECEP The Institute of Electronics Engineers of the Philippines - Laguna - MCL Chapter is a student organization for Electronics Engineering students of Malayan Colleges Laguna, which promotes professionalism, competitiveness, active participation and unity among its members. PICE Malayan Support Group Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers - Student Chapter is an institute that supports the formation of student chapters in engineering Institutions in order to: “We are students helping students” -Encourage civil engineering students to work together in fellowship and dedication to Science and Technology; -Enhance and improve civil engineering standards, curricula and facilities in schools; -Provide encouragement, guidance and leadership to civil engineering students; and -Promote association of civil engineering students with the members of the civil engineering profession. Objectives Malayan Support Group aims to provide academic and social support on the form of peer mentoring to support/ provide practical support for peer mentors to apply their knowledge and develop their social skills. An organization that creates mutual relationship between mentors and mentees UPLIFT - Union of Passionate Leaders Initiating Fair and True service. SCESM We, the members of the Society of Computer Engineering Students of Mapúa Institute of Technology at Laguna, are united with the common desire to form a student organization that shall promote technical proficiency in Computer Engineering, foster cordial and close relationship among ourselves, and the rest of the student body and prepare ourselves for a more productive role in society. A Community Engagement Organization and a student arm of CSCE, Sharing, helping and doing Community engagement activity is the main goal of the organization. CEO Metapora Civil Engineering Organization - Malayan Colleges Laguna (CEO-MCL) is a duly recognized student organization for all bona fide students of Malayan Colleges Laguna taking BS Civil Engineering. Metapora: The Malayan Literary Guild is a student organization of Malayan Colleges Laguna that deals with literature, and visual arts. Its primary purpose is to promote and enrich the literary and artistic talent of the Malayan student body. The organization supplements the above purpose by conducting workshops of the elements of its key channels, i.e. character creation and development, world building, creative writing, typography, book reviews, camera settings, and etc. There are also activities like team building, seminars, photo captions, and a book launching event. SWAP Students With A Purpose (SWAP) is a youth ministry/ organization of Los Baños Bible Community (LBBC) consisting of students and young professionals united into glorifying Christ above all else. It is composed of a group of students that came from different colleges of the school that are united by the passion and art of dance. Through the years the team have become a family, struggling together through hardships and praising God above all else through dance. PSME Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers - Malayan Colleges Laguna Student Chapter (PSME-MCLSC) is an organization for all bonafide, aspiring mechanical engineering students of Malayan Colleges Laguna. It promotes camaraderie, leadership, and moral excellence. YFC Youth for Christ (YFC) – MCL is a Christian organization that aims to evangelize youth from ages thirteen to twenty-one. The ministry molds a generation of young, passionate and Christ-centered people. As a CampusBased Program of YFC, it seeks to provide a point of conversion/re-conversion where a young person can grow as man or woman of God and be encouraged to take responsibility and gain leadership as they lead others to God as well. As such, this program accepts the vibrancy, energy, dynamism and free-spirit of the youth, and strives to re-channel this youthful spirit for use in the mission of building God’s kingdom in their homes and campuses. JPCS The Junior Philippine Computer Society (JPCS) Malayan Colleges Laguna (MCL) Chapter is an organization that aims to provide a welcoming society for MCL students that shares the same enthusiasm for technology. It also aims to allow its members to contribute in the community by assisting them to further enrich their knowledge and skills of their interest, especially those that are related to technology. PILAK PILAK is a student digital filmmaking and film appreciation organization which aims to promote and sustain film culture throughout MCL community by imparting imaginations and experiences through videos. CYOD We are Campus Youth of Destiny. Together with the campus leaders, the cyod has one vision that “Every youth is a leader who loves God and conquer campuses.” We are given a chance to join the vision of establishing a CYOD group inside a campus. We believe that the love of God is what sets out hearts on fire and brings us back to our destiny. CYOD is helping the youths of today restore their family relationships, excel in their academics, overcome hard circumstances and push through to achieve their destiny. Our aim is to be the salt and light of this world. We remind the youth that we are the hope that the world needs. We are united. We create a mark for change. We will start national transformation. We envision young students to have a life in Christ not just during their college stay, but even after that, throughout their whole lives.
