
Gratitude Corner
Registration papers for current students were sent home last
week. Additional copies are available in the school office.
New Student packets are available in the office if you have a
new student to register. Registrations should be returned by
February 26th.
Our thanks to the PTG for the teacher lunch they
provided last week during Catholic Schools Week.
We also thank them for the popcorn that the students
received while watching their movie last Friday.
Both were very much appreciated!
 Beginning February 19th, the morning school mass time will
be changing from 8:30 to 8:15.
 We apologize for omitting Paige Paschka from the 7A Second
Honors List. Congratulations Paige!

Walk-A-Thon

The Walk-A-Thon committee is selling baked good at the Fish Fry
on Friday, February 19th from 4-7:30PM. All proceeds will go
towards the Walk-A-Thon goal. We will have parents and students
both inside and outside at the drive thru! Please come and support
the St. Teresa Walk-A-Thon!
Congratulations to eighth grader, Grace Martin, who
was awarded an Inspired Excellence Scholarship to
Mother of Mercy High School!
Congratulations to Cassidy James who was accepted
into the Honors Program at Seton High School and
received an Academic Scholarship. Cassidy also
received an Academic Scholarship from Mother of
Mercy High School.

Children’s Bingo
Join us on Sunday, February 21st for our annual
Children’s Bingo from 12:30 – 2:30. Doors open at
12:30, Bingo begins at 1:00 in the St. Teresa Undercroft

Congratulations also to Eli Darnell, who was awarded a
Placement Scholarship, and two additional scholarships
to Elder High School.
We are so proud of Grace, Cassidy and Eli for what
they have accomplished.
Talent Show Try-Outs
There will be a sign-up sheet on Mrs. Wainscott’s
door for any students interested in trying out for
this year’s Talent Show. Try-out will be held on Wednesday,
February 24th after school.
Boys Running Club
We will be having Boys Running Club again this year,
starting in mid-March. Information and permission
slip for those interested were given out this week in homeroom.

Bruin Bash
On April 9th from 7pm-midnight, the STAA will be hosting the
Bruin Bash fundraiser in the gymnasium. It features live music
from The Menus, a $5,000 Reverse Raffle, food, drinks, games,
auctions and more. Raffle tickets are $50 each or two for $90.
Purchasing a raffle ticket also gets you into the Bash for free. If
you do not purchase a raffle ticket there will be a $10 cover

for students in grades K-3 (Younger siblings are invited, too!)
Help us celebrate Dr. Seuss and all of his
amazing books!
This free event is sponsored by
The Bruin Book Club
in order to promote the love of reading in young kids!
* Kids (& adults) can come in PJs and bring pillows and blankets.
*Some of the activities include reading books aloud, crafts, a book
exchange, and pictures with a Seussical theme. (Bring your cameras!)
* There will be door prizes for all, and the big door prizes will be new books.
*For a small fee you can purchase snacks and drinks (The proceeds
go to our door prizes & expenses.)
* Reservations are required (for planning purposes) AND an adult must
accompany children and remain at the event (for safety purposes!)
