a sub-committee of Carleton Place in Bloom. All are welcome to walk the outdoor
grass labyrinth at any time.
The labyrinth is an ancient spiritual tool
which has been used for over 4000
years. The labyrinth pattern is similar to
a circle, one of nature's most basic
forms, a symbol of harmony, wholeness,
grace and transformation. One entrance
point guides the walker through a series
of switchbacks that leads eventually to
the center of the pattern. Walking a
labyrinth is reported to support healing,
meditation and
personal growth. Visit us online at

Outdoor Rinks
Carleton Place has four outdoor rink locations, which
are maintained by community volunteers. They are
located on Alexander Street in McNeely Park,
Anthony Curro Park located in Stonewater Bay,
Woolgrowers lot in front of OPP/Ocean Wave
Building and at the Carambeck Community Centre.
Without the support of volunteers; the residents of
Carleton Place would not have the opportunity to
participate in this great outdoor activity. If you are
interested in volunteering, please contact Joanne at (613) 257-1690.
Volunteers Needed!
The Recreation and Culture Department has taken ownership
