Under its glamorous exterior, the Style Changing
Bag is a practical accessory featuring as many
handy storage pockets as the Exclusive Changing
Bag coupled with the storage capacity of the
Sport version. With practical pockets for nappies,
bottles, mobile phones and lots more. The interior
of the bag is lined with a luxurious woven satin
material and includes a changing mat in the same
fabric. Available in Black. Measurement:

Exclusive Apron
To provide perfect warmth and comfort for
your baby in the carrycot, we have our new
wonderfully soft Baby Footmuff. It can be
used in the Mondial/ Edge/Smart carrycot
and the City Carrycot/City Carrycot Supreme.
The Baby Footmuff is not suitable for use in
the pushchair seat unit. It is available in two
colours: black fabric and White Leatherette.
A comfortable and practical footmuff with
lovely soft cotton fleece. The footmuff has
openings for the 5-point harness with two
separate positions for the shoulder straps.
These two positions allow the 5-point harness’
shoulder straps to be positioned a bit lower so
that the smaller child can rest comfortably.
Made using Thermofil, this item can be used
all year around. In warm weather, the top
panel can be removed to allow the footmuff to
be used as a seat pad. There are also clips
which allow you to attach the footmuff into the
pram so that it will stay securely in place.
Practical zip in centre. Available in 26 colours.
A nylon stormcover in a practical bag is supplied with most of our prams. This can also be
bought as an accessory.
This stylish tailored apron protects your child in the stroller in
all weathers and provides extra protection in cold weather if used
over the footmuff. Available in matching colours for: Nitro, City
Cross, Ozone, Cerox, Scooter, Double City Cross. Available in
28 colours depending on pram model.

essence a modern and spacious handbag
with plenty of practical storage compartments

Leatherette. Measurements: 48x11x34 cm.
For our leatherette prams, there is now a matching
exclusive footmuff with removable Inner-lining. As
our leatherette fabrics cannot be washed (only
wiped clean with a damp cloth), the soft innerlining of the leatherette footmuff is removable so that
it can be washed separately. It also features
openings for the 5-point harness with two separate
positions for the shoulder straps. These two
positions allow the 5-point harness’ shoulder
straps to be positioned a bit lower so that the
smaller child can rest comfortably. There are also
clips which allow you to attach the footmuff into the
pram so that it will stay securely in place. Available

As an extra accessory, you can purchase
winter wheels for Nitro and Ozone. They
are slightly larger, fixed wheels the same
width as the rear wheels, and which can be
fitted to the pram instead of the swivel
wheels. The package includes two wheels,
one axle and two brackets. Assembly takes
place in store.

suitable position for a smaller child, you can buy
a Minimizer/Seat Pad for your pram. It features
two separate openings for the 5-point harness’
shoulder straps so that you can position the

reversible with a hard wearing material.

Emmaljunga has been manufacturing prams in its own
factory, based in Emmaljunga, Sweden, since 1925.
We have made a conscious choice, as the only pram
manufacturer to retain production in Sweden and
Europe, to invest heavily in product development and
environmental safeguards in our Swedish factory. This
means that we are unable to mass produce prams in
the lowest price range.
The majority of all prams are now being manufactured
in Asia, we are proud to be different and maintain our
tradition of craftsmanship in Sweden. Thus, we have
maintained our quality control, skills and workplaces
in Europe and offer our customers the opportunity to
consider not only quality, but also the environment in

Emmaljunga has a clear environmental policy for the
materials used to make our prams and for our
production facilities. We have all of our prams, fabrics
and components tested by accredited laboratories
according to current environmental standards. Our
factory in Sweden meets tough environmental standards and the transportation routes to most of our
markets are short.

We want to actively participate in creating a good
environment for the next generation. Our investments
in reducing Emmaljunga's impact on the environment
have led to a reduction of our factory's CO2 emissions
by over 400 tons a year. Other active investments
within the energy saving arena have resulted in savings
of over 750,000kWh of power a year in our production
process. We like to say that we take the lead not only
in the technical development of prams, but also in
creating what is today, one of the world’s most energy
efficient pram factories. In addition, by maintaining
production in Europe, the impact of our transportation
activities on the environment is much lesser than that
of many of our competitors, whose manufactured
products are imported from Asia. Our prams and
components are tested by authorised laboratories
according to the European chemical regulation, REACH.

Our City Cross, Nitro and Ozone strollers are perfect for
those who want a lighter and more compact pram. They
all include a practical stormcover and an integral, pull-out
mosquito net and sunshade. When you have chosen a
colour, the recommended price* is the same for City Cross,
Nitro and Ozone – you simply choose which model best
suits you and your child.
City Cross has four fixed wheels which are ideal for regular
use on rough terrain.
Nitro and Ozone feature swivel front wheels for maximum
manoeuvrability, perfect for the urban environment. Both
of these models have the same chassis and only the seat
unit differs. The Ozone seat unit is lighter yet its ergonomic
design still allows even the youngest child to sit in comfort.

The City Cross, Nitro, Ozone and Classic Sport
Stroller can be converted into light and compact
prams with the addition of the City Carrycot for the
newborn baby. The lightweight City Carrycot (4.2 kg)
has generous inner dimensions (75 cm long) and can
be easily attached on to the chassis in place of the
seat unit. After 6 months, the City Carrycot can be
removed and the seat unit can be used on the
chassis.

The Polar Performance Series has been developed
to ensure that you can enjoy the great outdoors,
whatever the weather. This collection has an eye
catching sporty design featuring robust zips and is
available in several of our pram models with colour
coordinating painted chassis.

are also equipped with newly designed TPU tyres that
give the pram the comfort of a pneumatic tyre

The City Cross has been a great success since its
launch together with the City Carrycot. Many parents
appreciate its compact size and lightweight chassis.
With the addition of new superlight, sporty wheels,
the pram now only weighs 12.9 kg with the City
Carrycot (see picture below). It has a lightweight
painted aluminium chassis combining low weight with
comfort, strength and safety. The choice of colour
determines the design of the pram: Leatherette
colours are supplied on a very exclusive ultralightweight chrome steel chassis. Polar Performance
(PP) colours come with a painted aluminium chassis,
with sporty handle and TPU wheels.
The seat unit is reversible and the stroller can be used
from birth with the addition of the City Carrycot or

attention, the new City Cross Leatherette pram is a
perfect choice. We have worked hard to perfect
the details, and have combined this exclusive pram
with an ultra light chrome chassis. The weight is
almost the same as an aluminium chassis, but has
a totally different look! City Carrycot Supreme in
Leatherette has everything you could wish for, and
at the same time is light and compact. Emmaljunga's
Leatherette fabrics from Germany are Class 1 Ökotex
certified, the strictest environmental classification

Nitro is a slimline yet tough stroller which has become
very popular among parents. Simple, lightweight (only
11,3 kg with the City Carrycot) and practical for urban
travel on buses and the underground. The stroller is
extremely narrow (57cm) and very flexible with swivel
front wheels, which allow you to turn the stroller on the
spot and move easily through busy city streets and
shopping centres. Despite the pram's minimal outer
measurements, the seat unit is very generous (90cm
long x 32cm wide). These are the same dimensions
as most other Emmaljunga prams, allowing your child
to use the seat unit in comfort up to approximately 3
years of age. The seat unit is reversible and the stroller
can be used from birth with the addition of the City
Carrycot or City Carrycot Supreme (page 20-23),
Quadrolift or Babylift. Nitro can be used as a travel

Ideal city stroller
Ozone builds upon our successful lightweight Nitro
chassis with the addition of a new superlight seat unit.
Ozone is a simple, extremely lightweight stroller (11
kg with the seat unit and 11,3 kg with the City
Carrycot). It is extremely narrow (only 57cm) and very
flexible with swivel front wheels, which allow you to
turn the stroller on the spot and move easily through
busy streets and shopping centres. The lightweight
seat unit makes it easy to take the stroller in and out
of the car, yet its generous dimensions (105cm long)
mean that your child can use the stroller in comfort
up to the age of 3 years. Its ergonomic design

where you have to take your child in and out of the

The Emmaljunga Isofix Base is the perfect solution. It
makes it even simpler to attach and remove your First
Class0+Base car seat from the car. The base is a secure
platform that can be fitted securely utilising the car’s
Isofix attachment points. Simply attach the base to the
Isofix points, then attach the First Class0+Base car seat to
the base with a click and you’re ready to go!

1. Cocoon
Perfect for use in Emmaljunga's 3-in-1s. Place the
Quadrolift straight into the carrycot part. There are many
advantages. For instance, in situations where it is
impractical to take your pram along - such as the doctor's
surgery, a restaurant or into a flat - you can remove your
baby from the carrycot in the cocoon where the child can
continue to lie in comfort. You can also reverse the
mattress and choose between the cosy fur fabric for
the winter or soft cotton fleece for the summer.
2. Lift
If you buy an Emmaljunga pushchair without a carrycot
for a newborn, you can convert the pushchair into a
luxurious pram with the Quadrolift. If you remove the
bumper bar and attach the Quadrolift in the stroller, it can
easily be used from birth.
3. Winter/summer footmuff
When your child can sit unaided and you have converted
your 3-in-1 pram into a pushchair, the Quadrolift can be
used as a footmuff to ensure your child's legs are kept
warm. The footmuff can be easily attached to the seat
unit with the aid of the clips provided. You can reverse
the liner in the footmuff and choose between cosy teddy
bear fabric for the winter or soft fleece for the summer.
4. Winter/summer seat pad
The Quadrolift can also be used as a comfortable seat
pad by removing the liner from the Quadrolift and
attaching it easily in to the stroller. The pad is reversible
so you can choose between cosy fur for the winter or soft
cotton fleece for the summer.

Toddler Seat
With the Emmaljunga Toddler Seat you can take
your older child along on short walks. The Toddler
Seat is assembled onto the seat-unit. The
advantage with the Toddler Seat is that you get a
narrow and practical stroller which folds compactly
despite the fact that it can carry two children.
Although it provides more limited space and comfort
than one of our twin/sibling strollers. Please ensure
that you follow our safety instructions for the Toddler
Seat thoroughly to avoid the stroller becoming
unbalanced. The Toddler Seat can be attached on
to the seat unit of specific Emmaljunga models:

Duo Combi
When you purchase a spacious Mondial
or Edge Duo Combi, both the carrycot and
seat unit are included. Start with the
carrycot for your baby, and then change to
the seat unit when your child grows; it's

City Cross, Nitro, Ozone
These compact and light models can be
used from birth if you add a City Carrycot
(page 20) or a luxurious City Carrycot
Supreme (page 22). You simply exchange
the pram's seat unit for the City Carrycot
and click it into place. As your child grows,
you change back to the seat unit again.
If you would rather use a Lift accessory for
your baby instead of a carrycot, our City
Cross, Nitro and Cerox models can also be
used with a Lift. Choose between a Quadrolift
or a Babylift. To use a lift for your baby, you
recline the seat unit and insert the lift.

For us, quality is a natural result of our choice to use only the best materials, that we
fulfil the latest safety standards, develop practical functions and construct prams for
durability and longevity.
Your Emmaljunga pram incorporates many features that are not always visible on the
surface. On the following pages we give you an overview of the interior of an
Emmaljunga pram. Quality becomes even more apparent the more you use your
pram.
Emmaljunga's functions vary depending on the pram model. The functions that are
included are indicated in the comparison table on pages 96-97. You will also find the
relevant icons on the model page in this brochure.
Extendable hood
The hood can be extended so that your child
is protected from sun and adverse weather.

Cradle function
The cradle function allows you to rock your child
when the carrycot stands on the floor. (Mondial/
Edge carrycot//City Carrycot Supreme only)
Swivel front wheels
You can turn and drive “slalom” with ease
without pushing down on the handle.
Telescopic handle
Adjust the height of the handle telescopically to
suit you for comfortable pushing (Sport chassis

TPU tyres
Is Emmaljunga reinventing the wheel? With Emmaljunga TPU
Marathon wheels, we have combined the comfort and
driveability of pneumatic tyres with the puncture-free
properties of EVA tyres. The tyres consist of an outer
covering made of the extremely tough TPU material. The
outer TPU covering functions like a rotating sole and gives
the tyre increased longevity whilst rolling resistance is
reduced to less than half that of a normal EVA tyre! You will
immediately notice the difference on smooth ground when
only the TPU sole is in contact with the terrain.
On softer surfaces, the TPU sole sinks in and the whole tyre's
breadth begins to work to keep the weight of the pram
centred. The result is that you get the best of both worlds.
And of course as an Emmaljunga owner, you may be the
first on the beach or in your town with these wheels – and
perhaps the only one? The system is patent pending.

Safe Frame
Emmaljunga SafeFrameTM is constructed to provide
maximum comfort and safety in each recline position. There
are three positions; upright and resting with extended head
support to the back, and a sleeping position where the upper
part automatically transforms into a protective frame for your
child's head without requiring fiddly adjustments. The seat
unit is cushioned with padded fabric and the integrated,
adjustable 5 point harness has a stretch function for
maximum comfort regardless of your child's position.
E.A.S.T™
Your child's weight increases five-fold in the first three years.
Your child's length doubles in the same period. Adjustable
suspension, E.A.S.T™, means that you can adapt the
suspension (Low/ Medium/High) to the weight of your child and
the terrain to obtain maximum comfort.
On prams with swivel wheels, you can use this system to
adjust the angle of the seat unit/carrycot.

Emmaljunga's tubes – "Perfectly Round"
Emmaljunga's tubes are round. We have a principle that our
designers follow – "Perfectly Round". No geometric shape is
stronger in all directions at the same time than the circle, and
the extended circle is the perfect construction tube for your
pram. Oval aluminium profiles are more about fashion and
appearance than true durability. Emmaljunga master the
properties of the round tube in all directions, and that's why
we construct our prams with three-dimensional curved tubes
rather than straight profiles that transfer lateral forces with
plastic parts and a few rivets. Choose whether you want
aluminium or the ultra high strength steel tubes manufactured
from Docol 900 made by Sweden's SSAB.
Surface treatments of tubes
Our super-light steel tubes from Sweden's SSAB made of
Docol 900 are extremely strong. Our own surface treatment
system involves the application of three different layers of
nickel, sealed with chrome or matt chrome/cryptonite to give
your pram an extra fine finish. Our aluminium tubes are
surface treated with an aluminium sealing coat, which is then
painted and finally varnished to obtain maximum strength and
a high gloss finish.
Hi-Pro
Emmaljunga's Mondial/Edge Duo Combi carrycots are
equipped with head protection placed behind the inner
fabric. On the inside of the head protection is a shock
absorbent, soft, air-filled material, and on the outside is the
protective hard shell.
Emmaljunga's Hi-ProTM protection provides your child with
increased security against unforeseen events in a busy daily
schedule; everything from open doors to table edges and
other objects that can collide with the carrycot.
Thermobase™
Warmth and humidity in the summer and cold winters are
typical for our Nordic climate. Emmaljunga's patented
Thermobase handles both conditions perfectly, with a warm
insulated bottom that is able to regulate the ventilation
beneath the mattress. All carrycots that are equipped with
Emmaljunga's ThermobaseTM also have the practical cradle
function integrated on the underside of the carrycot. Great
to have with you on short visits to friends and family.

All outer fabrics are tested and certified
according to BS EN ISO 105-B04:1993.
Emmaljunga places very high demands for
light fastness on its products. To keep the
colours of your pram looking fresh you
should try to avoid placing the pram in
direct sunlight for long periods of time.
Please note! No fabric will remain
unaffected after exposure to UV radiation,
bad weather and wind.
Emmaljunga safety tests all prams in
accordance with EN 1888. Our factory
has its own test facilities where safety
tests are carried out in a laboratory
environment.
No harmful substances
Emmaljunga also has its own test facilities
where product and fabric life testing are
carried out in a laboratory environment,
enabling us to continually improve the
durability of our products.
An Emmaljunga pram is designed to be
used for many years. Our fabrics have to
withstand cold winters, hot summers,
rainy autumns plus children's dirty boots
and sticky fingers! As a manufacturer of
high quality products in Scandinavia since
1925, we have a long experience of
coping with tough weather conditions and
have therefore developed our own fabrics
to withstand these conditions. After all,
children need to spend 'playtime' outdoors
so developing fabrics to cope with these
demands is vital. We dare to say that
Emmaljunga pram fabrics are in a class of
their own.
ProtexTM
All of our prams from the Model Year 2013
collection (except the Smart and
leatherette prams) feature ProtexTM fabrics.
Protex fabrics are not only dirt repellant
and highly water repellant, but they also
protect against the sun, wind and cold

water on it, so you can see what Protex
is all about. You will appreciate the full
benefits when your child insists on playing
outside despite the bad weather, or when
you are caught out by a sudden downpour
of rain! Even though most of our prams
are equipped with ProtexTM fabrics, which
are highly water repellant, we still
recommend that you use a raincover when
the rain is heavy and persistent. This is to
avoid stains appearing on the inner lining
caused by the rain mixing with dirt and
pushing through the seams in the pram's
fabrics. It is also important that you dry
and air the pram thoroughly if it gets wet
to keep your pram fresh.
Leatherette fabrics
We use high-quality, exclusive leatherette
from Germany. The fabric is ÖKOTEX
certified with the strictest class 1
certification for child safety.
It is a very hard wearing and fashionable
material. Dirt can easily be removed with
a damp cloth and a drop
of washing up liquid.

All our materials are tested according to
EN1888 and EN71, Part 3:1995 and
against AZO colouring substances, to
ensure that no harmful substances exist
in the fabrics. All our fabrics are tested
thoroughly through accredited laboratories
to comply with the EU regulations.
UV-Protection 50+
We have had our base outer fabrics tested
according to an Australian/NZ standard
concerning UV protection. The fabrics
handle a UPF (Ultra-violet Protection factor)
of 50+ against UPF and UVB radiation.
This means that only 1/50 rays goes
through the fabrics. The fabrics protects
against 98% of UV-radiation and your
child gets a very high protection against
the sun from our hoods and parasols.
All prams are quality checked throughout
the whole of the manufacturing process,
ensuring that both quality and safety are
built into the pram during its production in
our Swedish factory.
Certified products
Our manufacturing process as well as our
products are inspected and certified
regularly by TÜV. The products are certified
by TÜV, SGS and STR (British Standard).
Environment
Our products and components are tested
regularly by accredited laboratories to
ensure that no harmful substances are
present, in accordance with EU directives.
Care for your pram
Even though we perform quality and
product life tests and only use material
of the highest quality, it is still important for
you to care for and maintain your pram in
order for it to last and work effectively.
No pram can remain free from wear and
tear, for example, on the wheels and
brakes and other moving parts on the
chassis. Similarly, no fabric can maintain
100% light fastness if subjected to UV
radiation. Follow the care instructions
and you will have a lot of pleasure from
your pram for a very long time to come!
Care of fabrics
All fabrics are removable to enable them
to be cleaned and the pram to retain its
freshness. Follow the care advice supplied with the pram or contact your authorised retailer for care instructions. Fabric
samples are available at all our authorised
Emmaljunga retailers. Emmaljunga reserves the right against differences between
fabric samples and the actual pram
fabrics.
If something happens to your
pram
If you are not pleased with the quality of
your pram for any reason, we kindly ask
you to contact the retailer from whom the
pram was purchased. Emmaljunga
follows the statutory rules and regulations
valid within the EU.
Material and manufacturing faults are faults
that are considered to have existed on
the product from the date of purchase
(as printed on your receipt). Faults that
occur within 6 months from the purchase
date are considered to have been present
from the time of purchase. Products
which on inspection are found to have
these faults will be repaired or replaced, if
a repair is not deemed possible.
Faults that are found to be the result of an
accident, airline damage, neglect, misuse,
normal wear and tear or a result of not
having correctly followed the care
instructions are not valid complaints.
We recommend that you go to your dealer
and have the servicing of your pram
carried out according to the service
manual. This will both extend the lifetime
of your pram and also ensure that all of the
important safety functions such as the
brakes and attachments work correctly.

walks. The Toddler Seat can be assembled
on to the seat unit on the following prams:

Available in 2 colours: Navy and Black.
The Quadrolift has four practical functions and
can be used from birth up to 3 years. It can be
used as a Cocoon, a Lift, a Winter/Summer
footmuff and a Winter/Summer seat pad. It fits
in both the pram and stroller. For detailed
information see page 54. Outer measurements:
83 x 38 x 21cm. Inner measurements: 79 x 32
x 18cm. Weight including seat pad: 3.1 kg.
Weight without seat pad: 2.7 kg. Available in 28

Allows you to use your stroller for a newborn
