Enhanced PAG w/ Dye - “Single End Capped”
w/ Lubricant Enhancer© - OEM type for R134a Service and Retrofit Only
This Lubricant was developed by leading Industry Chemist. This Proprietary Blended PAG
Lubricant offers excellent Protection against Metal Wear and Moisture Absorption for
Corrosion Protection. This Product is blended with our MasterChem™ Lubricant Enhancer©
which provides additional additives to reduce Metal Wear and clean the Condenser
internally along with the rest of the System restoring the Thermal Efficiency of the
A/C System. These Oils are for R134a only, OEM Service and Retrofit.
MasterChem™ PAG Lubricants
Ultra Double End-Capped Oil
Developed by OEM Oil Manufactures this Oil provides better Protection
against Metal Wear and Moisture Absorption for Corrosion Protection.
The Double End-Capped Technology absorbs the Moisture in the A/C System
removing it from contact with Metal surfaces reducing Wear and Corrosion.
This Lubricant is compatible with R12 and R134a Refrigerants.
These are High Quality OEM PAG Oils.
Premium OEM Single End-Capped Oil
Santech packages Dow Chemical OEM Grade PAG46 (RL244) PAG100
(RL100) and PAG150 (RL488).
All Viscosities are offered with and without U.V. Dye.
The Dow Chemical PAG46 is equivalent to Delco 10-5040 and the PAG150 is
equivalent to Delco 15-118.
These are High Quality OEM Service PAG formulations.
These Oils are for R134a only, OEM Service and Retrofit.
Aftermarket Base PAG Oils
Santech does not supply these type Oils.
These Oils usually lack most of the additive packages
required for Metal Wear protection and Moisture
Absorption for the prevention of Corrosion.
They are usually “Price Competitive” offerings in the
Market being compared to the higher quality oils.
Overview
Lubricants are subjected to (2) basic test.
The Falex Pin & Vee Ball Force lbs. Failure (ASTM
D3233A) and the 4 Ball Scar Value mm (ASTM D4172)
Test.
The chart below shows the Failure & Scar averages of
Industry Lubricants.
The Chart shows test results based on the quality and
type of the Oil. Bottom line, the higher the Falex Failure
and the lower the Scar the better the lubricant.

Lubricant combines premium PAG Lubricants with
MasterChem’s™ Lubricant Enhancer© with
MasterProtect©
MasterChem’s™ Lubricant Enhancer© is an
advanced additive that has been shown to improve
the performance of Automotive A/C Systems.
Lubricant Enhancer© increases Thermal Efficiency
and reduces friction and wear in the Compressor
resulting in colder air, energy savings and extended
A/C Compressor life.
This advanced additive also keeps A/C Systems
clean by chemically placing the Lubricant in a
“Boundary Film”. This prevents moisture and other
Acids from forming Corrosion.
This combination of premium PAG base Lubricants
and MasterChem’s™ Lubricant Enhancer© will
help improve A/C output in older systems and
will help maintain A/C output in newer systems.
MasterChem’s™ Lubricant Enhancer© formula
meets OEM specifications and will provide exceptional
protection and performance in R-134a Automotive
A/C Systems.
