1. CONTINUATION OF CLOSURE ALONG DAMANSARA- PUCHONG HIGHWAY (LDP) AND
PERSIARAN BANDAR UTAMA (KEPONG-BOUND AND SS2-BOUND)

launching and concreting works for the future MRT Bandar Utama Station
The traffic management plan involves the following closure:
CLOSURE A: Full road closure along LDP Highway (Kepong-bound) from Persiaran Bandar Utama
junction to Lebuh Bandar Utama junction for a stretch of 500m (including U-turn to SS2-bound) (See
map 1).
During this closure, following diversions will take place:
 (
) Motorists from SS2/Jalan Damansara wanting to turn into Lebuh Bandar Utama
To be diverted to turn left into Persiaran Bandar Utama and take right turn after the traffic
light to Dataran Bandar Utama before heading to Lebuh Bandar Utama.
 (
) Motorists from the Sprint Highway intending to go to Bandar Utama may also
continue to travel on the Sprint Highway (E23) and approach One Utama from the southern
entry i.e. Lebuh Bandar Utama.
CLOSURE B: Closure along Persiaran Bandar Utama and in front of Sri Pentas
B1: Two-lane closure at LDP Highway (Kepong-bound, in front of Sri Pentas)
B2: Closure of lanes along Persiaran Bandar Utama exiting into LDP Highway (Kepong-bound,
next to Sri Pentas)
During this night closure, the following diversions will take place:
 Motorist from First Avenue heading to LDP Highway will be directed to make a U-turn at
Persiaran Bandar Utama, then turn right at the traffic light to Dataran Bandar Utama and take
another right at the traffic light of Lebuh Bandar Utama.
 Motorist from Persiaran Bandar Utama heading to LDP will be directed to turn into Dataran
Bandar Utama and turn right at the traffic light of Lebuh Bandar Utama.

There will be a continuation of night Traffic Management Plan (TMP) involving the bound closure on
the flyover at the TTDI Interchange from 1 January 2016 – 29 February 2016 from 12 midnight to
6:00am, intermittently.
The closure will alternate between the SS2 and Kepong bounds of the flyover as follow:
C1: Full bound closure (heading to SS2) on the flyover at the TTDI Interchange
C2: Full bound closure (heading to Kepong) on the flyover at the TTDI Interchange
During this night closure, the following diversions will take place:

) Motorists from Kepong wanting to use the flyover at TTDI Interchange to head to SS2
To be diverted left to the traffic light at the Underpass of the TTDI Interchange where they can drive
straight ahead.

To be diverted to the left-side of the flyover and drive straight ahead.

There will be a continuation of long-term, night road closure on Jalan Damansara from Jalan Tun
Mohd Fuad junction to IWK (SPRINT Highway-bound) (as indicated in RED in the map). During the
closure, the following diversions will take place:
 Motorists from Jalan Tun Mohd Fuad going to Jalan Damansara (KL / SPRINT Highway-bound):

) Turn right at the traffic light junction at Jalan Tun Mohd Fuad, then turn left at the next traffic
light into LDP (SS2-bound) to access SPRINT Highway at the Damansara Utama Interchange near the
Police Station.
 Motorists from Jalan Leong Yew Koh going to Jalan Damansara (KL/ SPRINT Highway-bound):

) Go to TTDI Interchange Underpass towards SS2 and proceed to SPRINT Highway at the
Damansara Utama Interchange

Go to Jalan Damansara, make a U-turn at the Jalan Tun Mohd Fuad traffic light and head towards LDP
Highway (SS2-bound) to access SPRINT Highway at the Damansara Utama Interchange.
 Motorists from Kepong going to Jalan Damansara (KL/ SPRINT Highway-bound):

) Proceed to the flyover and turn left at Damansara Utama Interchange to join the SPRINT
Highway.
 Motorists on LDP Highway from SS2 heading to Jalan Damansara (KL/ SPRINT Highway-bound):

) Will be directed to the Bandar Utama Interchange to make a U-turn. Motorists are required
to take the flyover at the TTDI Interchange towards SS2 to connect to the SPRINT Highway at the
Damansara Utama Interchange.
 Motorists on the SPRINT Highway going to TTDI

) will be diverted to drive to TTDI Interchange and make a U-Turn before the traffic light and
proceed to Jalan Tun Mohd Fuad .
Map 3: CONTINUATION OF LONG-TERM NIGHT ROAD CLOSURE FROM PIZZA HUT TO IWK ALONG JALAN

To facilitate construction of Entrance A, Entrance B and related construction works
for the future MRT TTDI Station
There will be a continuation of a night closure to facilitate the TTDI MRT station works from the traffic
light junction at Jalan Tun Mohd Fuad to the former Caltex, and will be implemented intermittently
from 11:00PM to 6:00AM in both directions (as indicated in RED in the map).
A contra-flow will be implemented during this closure.Motorists from LDP/TTDI heading towards
KL/SPRINT Highway will be diverted to the opposite lane and one traffic lane will be made available
for each direction (SPRINT Highway- and LDP Highway-bounds).
The junctions of Jalan Wan Kadir and Jalan Wan Kadir 3 with Jalan Damansara will be temporarily
closed/inaccesible during the contra-flow period.
As such, motorists are advised to use the following alternative routes :

) Motorists from Jalan Damansara heading towards Jalan Wan Kadir and Jalan Wan Kadir 3
will be be directed to turn left into Jalan Tun Mohd Fuad, and turn right to Jalan Wan Kadir 5.
(
) Motorists from Jalan Wan Kadir and Jalan Wan Kadir 3 heading towards Jalan Damansara
will have to turn left to Jalan Wan Kadir 5, and left again to Jalan Tun Mohd Fuad.
Alternatively, motorists on LDP Highway (from Kepong) heading towards Kuala Lumpur can opt to
bypass Jalan Damansara by using Penchala Link or head straight towards the SPRINT Highway.
This contraflow for Closure B and bound Closure A from Pizza Hut to IWK will not be
implemented simultaneously on the same night.

During the three-night closure, alternative routes are available are as follows (please see map

Will be diverted to drive 150m ahead and turn right into Lebuh Bandar Utama where they can access
the Bandar Utama area via the internal road system.

of 10 Semantan to the junction of Jalan Damansara Endah. During this closure, two (2) lanes will be
made available for motorists from Kuala Lumpur heading towards Petaling Jaya.

To facilitate station works of the future MRT Semantan Station
The full night closure of the SPRINT Highway/Jalan Semantan (both Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jayabound) will continue until 31 March 2016. The closure will take place from 10:00pm to 5:00am
(Monday – Friday) and 12 midnights (Saturday) to 12 noon (Sunday). The closure will be done
intermittently from KM7.4 until KM8.1. (Please see appended map).
Motorists will be required to use the following alternative routes:
1. Motorists from Kuala Lumpur heading to Petaling Jaya on the SPRINT Highway/Jalan
Semantan will be diverted up the ramp to Istana Pintu 2 into Lorong Dungun, straight to Jalan
Gelenggang, and then turn left to Jalan Beringin and underneath the flyover to join the SPRINT
Highway (as indicated in BLUE in map).
2. Motorists from Kuala Lumpur heading to Jalan Damansara, Jalan Jelutong and Jalan
Damansara Endah will be diverted up the Istana Pintu 2 ramp, into Lorong Dungun, straight
to Jalan Gelenggang, then left to Jalan Beringin and underneath the flyover to join the SPRINT
Highway, passing Pusat Bandar Damansara and up the ramp before connecting to Jalan
Damansara, Jalan Jelutong and Jalan Damansara Endah (as indicated in BLUE followed by
PURPLE in map).
3. Motorists from Petaling Jaya heading back to PJ/Bangsar will be diverted onto Jalan
Damanlela, left into Jalan Damansuria before connecting back to SPRINT Highway (as
indicated in ORANGE in map).

SPRINT flyover near Pusat Bandar Damansara (PJ-bound) will undergo a medium- term full road
closure starting 1 January 2016 to 31 March 2016, 10:00 pm to 6:00 am (Monday to Friday) and 12:00
midnight (Saturday) until 12:00 noon (Sunday), intermittently.
During this closure, motorists from KL heading towads PJ will be diverted to turn into Jalan Johar and
then turn left into Jalan Beringin. At the roundabout, take the second exit to continue on Jalan Beringin
and turn left at the junction to go to Persiaran Bukit Kiara before joining SPRINT Highway to got to PJ.
Motorists from KL to Jalan Ma’arof/ Bangsar will not be affected.

 Lane closure from Mon’t Kiara to PJ
 Lane closure from Mon’t Kiara to Federal Highway (Kerinchi Link)
 Lane closure at KGPA-slip road
During these closures, motorists will have to follow these diversions:
a) () From KL (Sprint Highway) and Federal Highway (Kerinchi Link) to Mon’t Kiara: make a Uturn at the flyover underneath Jalan Dato’ Abu Bakar / SPRINT Highway, and turn left to Mon’t
Kiara.
b) () From Mon’t Kiara to PJ: make a U-turn at Ma’arof Interchange and join SPRINT Highway
to go to PJ.
c) () From Mon’t Kiara to Federal Highway (Kerinchi Link): make a U-turn at Maarof
Interchange and head towards the Federal Highway (Kerinchi Link).

Jalan Ma’arof (KL bound & PJ bound) will continue to close from 1 Januray 2016 until 31 March 2016,
10:00 pm to 6:00 am, intermittently. The Jalan Ma’arof closure stretches after the junction of Jalan
Medang Serai to Ma’arof Interchange (downhill heading towards Jalan Johar) and from Petaling Jaya
heading uphill towards Jalan Ma’arof (underneath the SPRINT flyover at Ma’arof Interchange).
During the closure, the following diversions will take place:
 Motorists from PJ heading towards Jalan Ma’arof will be diverted towards Pusat Bandar
Damansara, going onto SPRINT flyover above Ma’arof Interchange and make a left turn into Jalan
Medang Tanduk, and left again into Jalan Medang Serai before joining Jalan Ma’arof.
 Motorists from Jalan Ma’arof heading towards PJ will be diverted to turn left into Jalan Medang
Serai, and right to Jalan Medang Tanduk to join SPRINT Highway.
 Motorists from Jalan Ma’arof (from KL direction) returning to KL will be diverted to make a U-turn
at the traffic light junction of Jalan Ma’arof/ Jalan Medang Serai. From there, motorists can head
straight into Jalan Bangsar, towards Jalan Duta/ KL.
MAP 13: CONTINUATION OF NIGHT TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT AT SPRINT HIGHWAY AND JALAN MA’AROF

Slip road from Kuala Lumpur (near HELP Residence) will be temporarily closed at night starting 1
January 2016 until 31 March 2016 from 11.00 pm – 6.00 am, intermittently.
During this closure, motorist from KL heading towards Jalan Ma’arof (Bangsar-bound) should keep
right along Pusat Bandar Damansara, and turn left further ahead into Jalan Ma’arof at the underpass.
Please also take note that the SPRINT flyover near Pusat Bandar Damansara (PJ-bound) is still
undergoing medium-term full closure which was announced on 26 December 2014. However, this
closure will not be done simultaneously with other closures announced earlier at this are.

There will be a lane closure next to the SPRINT Highway (Damansara Toll Plaza) from 1 January 2016
until 31 March 2016. The closure will be done in two (2) sections:
Closure A (1 January 2016 – 31 March 2016, 24 hours): There will be a one (1) lane closure next to
the SPRINT Highway (Damansara Toll Plaza). During this closure one (1) lane will be made available to
the motorists from KL heading towards Petaling Jaya. There will be two (2) lanes available for motorists
on Jalan 16/11 going towards Petaling Jaya.
Closure B (1 January 2016 – 31 March 2016, between 9:00AM to 4:00PM): Additionally, closure B will
be implemented concurrently with Closure A between 8:00AM to 4:00PM. During these closures, one
lane will be made available to the motorists from KL heading towards Petaling Jaya on Jalan 16/11 and
one (1) lane will be made available on SPRINT Highway near Phileo Damansara.
MAP 16: CONTINUATION OF LANE CLOSURE NEXT TO SPRINT HIGHWAY (DAMANSARA TOLL PLAZA)
To minimize the traffic impact, motorists from KL on SPRINT Highway heading towards Petaling Jaya
can opt to turn into Jalan Dato’ Abu Bakar and turn right into Jalan 16/16 and the turn right to Jalan
17/1 and join back Jalan 16/11 to head back to Petaling Jaya.
17. CONTINUATION OF LANE CLOSURE AT SPRINT HIGHWAY AFTER PETRONAS STATION, SECTION
16 (KL-BOUND)

To facilitate the completion work of link bridge for Phileo Damansara Station and
material delivery and unloading for station work
There will be two (2) lanes closure for a stretch of 200 m after the Section 16 Petronas Petrol Station
at SPRINT Highway (KL-bound), from 1 January 2015 until 31 March 2016. This closure will be divided
into a two-lane closure (Monday-Friday, 10:00PM to 6:00AM) and a three-lane closure (Saturday –
Sunday, 12 Midnight to 6:00AM).
Two (2) lanes (right-most-lane) will be made available for motorists from TTDI and Petaling Jaya
heading to Kuala Lumpur from Monday to Friday. One (1) lane (right-most-lane) will be made available
for motorists of the same bound during weekend (Saturday-Sunday).
MAP 17: CONTINUATION OF LANE CLOSURE AT SPRINT HIGHWAY AFTER PETRONAS STATION, SECTION 16
