•Prerequisite for this program is the SST
Introductory program or similar entry level
artistry certification.
•Program tuition must be paid in full at time
of registration.
•All programs include a photo shoot with
professional photographer and 1 8x10 photo
to add to portfolio.

freelance work after the SST certification is

In order to receive certification all modules must
be completed.
Missed modules can be made up at the next
scheduled program or an additional date can be

Caitlin Vodnoski
is an Edmonton
based educator
and SST’s
Alberta facilitator.
She has 10
years overall
experience in the
beauty industry
with 6 of those
years dedicated
to working as an esthetician, hairstylist and
makeup artist. Caitlin studied aesthetics and
makeup artistry at the Blanche McDonald
Center in Vancouver. Once her aesthetics
and makeup artistry course was finished she
continued her education by attending Marvel
college in Edmonton for hairstyling.

Caitlin has had the opportunities to do photo
shoots for Vue Weekly (local Edmonton paper),
The Cutting Room Salon and Spa, Bridal
looks, Editorial looks, local Edmonton hair
competitions and stage makeup for National
events across Western Canada.
Caitlin was first introduced to SST Cosmetics
in 2010 and instantly fell in love with the line.

designed to educate you in the fundamentals of
makeup required to offer professional makeup

These workshops will be taught using SST

Two comprehensive makeup artistry programs
have been created to offer a complete curriculum.
The SST professional makeup artistry program
will teach you the basic fundamentals when it
comes to makeup application. The focus will be
on tools, accessories and product along with face
shapes, basic colour theory as well as day and night
applications.
Our Intermediate Program was designed to take
your basic knowledge and expand upon it, allowing
you to excel in more technique specific applications
including – Ethnic, smokey eye, bridal and editorial
applications.

· history of makeup dating back to Egyptian
times to present
· labeling and how a makeup brush is made/
differences between synthetic and real hair
brushes
· bacteria and cleanliness of makeup brushes

Colour Theory
· primary, secondary and tertiary colors
· colour wheel
· combining colors
· temperature of colors
Day 3
· face shapes / lip shapes / basic skin care
· basic skin types and conditions
· different eye shapes with eye shadow
placement
· the lip- how to correct lips
Day 4
· definitions of makeup products
· SST Cosmetics full product knowledge

· makeup application steps with demo and how
to go from day makeup to evening
